We stayed for 7 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional and accomodating. It was a good location for us to visit with family who lived 7 minutes from the hotel. The breakfast had some hot choices but were mostly the same every day.

The tv/remote wasn’t working, tried to call the office, the phone didn’t work either. Went downstairs, only one person on duty with a lot of people checking in, so I waited to tell him my problem, to which he said he would try to come up and look at it. To his credit, he showed up, unfortunately by then we were sleeping. Breakfast was a bit crowded, not a lot to choose from. They close the dining at 9:00 am, and they make sure you know that they are closing. The access road is usually filled with 18 Wheelers parked every which way, you won’t see that in their brochure. The service people are very helpful, it was the lack of service people that was concerning.

Morning Update: at 9 am the housekeeper just opened the door and walked into my room while I was in the shower. No knock first. No warning. I hadn’t checked out. How does any establishment think this is ok?! I showed up 39 minutes before check-in started. Was told I couldn’t check in without paying an extra $30. This is after I had already upgraded to the most expensive suite they offer. The room was ready, so it wasn’t a matter of them not being able to check me in. They just wouldn’t without me paying them extra money. I refused, 10 minutes of sitting in the lobby and then I could magically check in without paying the $30 Also, the wi-fi is terrible, very slow. Speeds are - 6 Mbps down/1 Mbps up I’ve never stayed at a place that sells you a room with a blocked window. But wait, there’s more! The coffee machine still had dirty grounds left in it. I guess they don’t clean the rooms between guests. Also, let’s not forget the elevator, there’s only one and you’ll spend minutes waiting for it every time you use it.

I reserved the room with my Discover card; they said I hadn't paid yet and had only made a reservation with a different card. Took a few minutes to get it figured out. The room is poorly lit and the floors are sticky. We have stayed here previously, and it was a much better experience.
