When we first arrived the hall by the check in desk smell like someone was smoking. Upon entering the room, it smelled of chemicals. We went out for the night, when we returned (midnight) it smelled strongly of smoke. Our guess was the chemicals were to cover the smoke. There was mold in the corners of the bath. The 2 towels were thread bare. The AC unit would not function properly and when it did come on it was so loud it would wake us up. Would cycle on/off about once an hour all night long. The refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it so I could hear the TV. The carpets in the room and common areas were stained. I have spent a significant portion of my life traveling both personal and professional and will say this is one of the worst hotel rooms I have stayed in. If I was charged $50 for the night for the room I might have expected this, but at over $100 for the night I was expecting better. This will impact our future decisions regarding spending any more money in this chain of hotels.

Breakfast was good, the size of the room was VERY good. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, and it was very large.

Nice hotel bad staff

Pros: The guy that was checking in behind me, he said this place was great, obviously because his logging company was paying the bill.
Cons: Replace everyone that hates booking sites so much that they remove the curtain runners from the window frame.
Going to give this hotel what it wants. I booked this room and got just what I payed for since I did it thru Travelocity. Once I gave my name they told me to park past the pool (2/3 the way across the hotel) Walked in to the room and it was 79 degrees, so we turned on the AC. Decided to turn on the TV and had to reprogram it because the HDMI cable had been put into another port. It also looked like someone had cleaned it with vegetable oil, luckily I had some glass cleaning wipes in my car. I lucked out that it had turned on with the remote because there was a "We will charge you..." placard in front of the TV remote eye. We dealt with all that. My daughter used the bathroom and noted that there was hair in the shower. I understand things were missed. We went to go to sleep and realized that there was only one curtain on the window and that the Lowe's next to the hotel kept their lights on all night. We pulled back the down comforters (in August?) and laughed. Given that the room we had was next to the Mechanical room might have been annoying,luckily we had the AC going and we didn't notice the difference. When I checked out in the morning I made sure to return the room keys in the envelope they gave them to me, the nice lady at the counter opened it up and asked me if I had received a bill under the door. I lied and said no, she then promptly informed me that if I had paid for my room thru a booking site they would send the receipt to me.

Hello, First off I would like to apologize for any issues that occurred during your stay. Our staff works very hard to ensure each and every guest has a remarkable stay and it saddens me to hear we did not reach our goal. We do direct you to the door closest to your room so it's more convenient for the guest, now that does not mean you are obligated to use that door as it is only a suggestion to make it easier for you. If at any point you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your room, please reach out to hotel staff as we would have been happy to have resolved these issues for you. The employee in the morning who said that the third party booking site would send you a receipt is correct, our computers don't show us the same thing it shows you and that's why they email it to you so there is no confusion. I will personally address these things with our staff to make sure it doesn't happen again and I hope you will give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations on your next trip to the area!

Wouldn’t stay again

Pool was closed for weekend. Entire hotel dingy and did not feel clean. Carpet in room disgusting, along with furniture. Bed outlived it’s life long ago. Reserved room with king size bed, was put in room with double. Had to argue with staff to be move to room with king. Staff tried telling me I would have to pay more and call travelocity to tell them the rate was wrong. Finally did give us room we reserved with king size bed. Would not recommend.

Your Reservation was from Travelocity they made the error not us so to blame us for their mistake is not right also we dont have any King size accessible at the property so that would be not possible at all plus the handicap Accessible rooms are mostly put on lower rates tooands yes we did make it possible for you to get in a King Room too
