Check in was very slow and took an hour due to a computer system being down. Room key was broken but they fixed it pretty promptly. Room was quite far away to walk to, particularly with two young kids. Didn't have enough towels and had to request more. It was good otherwise.

Although the hotel has a slightly older feel, it did not detract from our stay at all. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and the service we received was truly outstanding—on par with that of a five-star hotel. Our room was always spotlessly clean, and the swimming pool was a real highlight. We especially enjoyed spending time there with our child, which made our stay even more special. From now on, I don’t think we will need to look for any other hotel when visiting again. Thank you once again to the wonderful team at Millennium Hotel for such a memorable experience.

The hotel is a very average hotel. The service is not good. They also charged us breakfast fee even though we did not have breakfast there. If you come to Rotorua, I don’t recommend this one since it’s not really a four star hotel.

The room was excellent, spotless The staff were so helpful and kind and sorted any worries. However, scanning the QR code to find out anything was an ordeal No instructions for the television I have never paid for breakfast before There was no lunches or any way to get lunch Room service was for dinner only I paid for my stay when I booked with expedia, but they charged me again on check in, they fixed it straight away and i was refunded next day. The staff were friendly, courteous and kind Its a very nice hotel, clean and well appointed, However it was not really a hotel for the older person, very noisy at night with doors banging shut until very late and children running and shouting everywhere and doors banging very early. I did have a good stay overall, the spa ladies were awesome, the food was excellent, especially the Christmas buffet.

Millenium hotel was quite nice. It had a nice spa hot tub area and a decent sized pool. The staff are very helpful and attentive. Hotel rooms were very clean with pretty nice pillows and beds. The location is good within walking distance to a number of restaurants including dakbi the Korean fried chicken place which was really good and quite popular. If staying in Rotorua this is a good choice. You get a view of the lake from your room depending on the location of your room. It’s next to the Polynesian spa as well.
