Do not stay at this property. Not a hotel but rooms in the basement. Very deceiving from the outside and photos provided. When we arrived we immediately called a Travelocity agent who directed us to leave and notify the owner and that we would receive a full refund. Still sorting this through with Travelocity said the owner said me and my 3 friends checked in, stayed for a while and had a shower. This definitely was not the case. Me, 64, and my wife, 63, sat in the bed and made the calls to Travelocity. To date no refund from the owner for a one night stay that was definitely overpriced and not in the condition as expected from the photos. STAY AWAY!!!! Do not book with this hotel!

Ok room! A bit a expensive for what it was, close to the road and we had a homeless guy shout from our window. There was mold, but i don't know if it was to be expected in these old buildings? Definitely bring earplugs, or else it is very hard to sleep. Room is a bit small, but there's all you need in there. You can also ask for more soap, since they only give small packets. Definitely need to download whatsapp and call/text the owners first so you know how to enter (we searched a little, it was our fault). Overall was a good stay.

This is a small hotel between the Vatican and Piazza Navona. It is not staffed all day so it was necessay to inform the hotel when we would be arriving. A great advantage for people travelling overnight from North America is the early check-in that allows for a much needed nap. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. A reasonable stop for a short stay before we moved into our VRBO apartment.

The bathroom was honestly gross. Mold in the shower and hair was left from the prior guests. There was a consistent sewage smell stemming from the bathroom as well. The walls are very thin and you can hear other guest’s conversations & comings and goings.

This family hotel is beyond our expectations! The room is big and clean. Very close to Vatican we enjoyed the walking and crossing the bridge. This property is located in an excellent area convenient for walking to St. Peter’s basilica Vatican City and all the sites in Rome that you want to see. The bathroom is in need of an update. Showerhead needs replacing and counter space is non existent. 4 keys are needed to get into the property after hours with one door a bit of a struggle to open and shut behind you. All on an extra large key chain to carry around. Unfortunately, trying to contact the owners on. WhatsApp was difficult for me as I wanted to book transportation to the airport and was not able to do that through messaging or through the lady that checked us in. I had to call an online service which was fine in the end.

Place was cleans and staff was friendly. Staff is only available from about 7 am to noon. Other tgan that you have to communicate through message and wait until they respond. It was cold un the room and bedding was very thin. Hallway of hotel was very small so you can hear everything and everyone. Even people from other rooms.

Location, location and location. It was a 30 minute walk to all major attractions. The room was clean with basic necessities. A little bit of street noise but that is to be expected in Rome. It felt safe both around the property and in the room. The staff was very quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean and newly renovated, we enjoyed our stay. There are only 5 rooms on the one floor and each room is unique. Ours was newly renovated and very clean, although very small. Check in was easy, someone greeted us and connected us to the owner or manager who spoke English and guided us through the process. We checked in during the morning which made it easier than nighttime check in I imagine. The shower was good altho no shelf to put shampoo & soap etc. The bed was comfortable (we had a queen size) but there was little room for our bags in the room. My biggest complaint was the noise as the hotel is right next to a busy street. I wore earplugs which solved the problem. The air conditioner was rather noisy so we opened the window, but with scaffolding on the outside of the building I was concerned for safety reasons. Luckily it’s a safe neighborhood so all was good. Convenient location, busy area, close to many sights. We would stay here again and highly recommend, also a good value.

Upon entering I noticed this area was very clean and the exterior was really nice and quiet, with security on staff for a nearby university. The staff was very accommodating, allowing me early check-in. The room was possibly a smoking room due to the lingering smell (room #3). The room itself had nice windows, but the location is next to a busy road with constant ambulances driving by and heavy traffic throughout the day. With the windows shut it was reduced. The room was updated and the shower was large. GREAT LOCATION.

There are five units in a building with a security guard so it seems very safe. They give you codes to access your room. It is just across the street from the river and a short distance walking to the Vatican, Castel San Angelo, And much of the historic section of Rome. Most of the fixtures seem fairly newly remodeled. We found a cab stand for five blocks away to take us to the airport. The room is not super large, but we were only there for one night so it was convenient for our needs.

Overall, the experience was as-expected. Check-in was made easy by communication ahead of time. The size and condition of the room was good, and the bed was very comfortable. The street noise was very loud, but got better after I discovered how to close the shutters. Far from Metro, but close to bus, and central location if willing to walk ~20 minutes to Colosseum or Vatican. I would stay here again

When I opened the door to the room I was immediately met by a foul odor that was confirmed to be the smell of a dead rodent by a man working in the shower of the next room. The day of checkin was extremely hot, over 90 degrees and the window was open and the air conditioner off. Having just walked from the train station I attempted to take a shower and found NO hot water even after letting the water run for 5 - 10 minutes. This is the roach motel.

Clean and comfy bed. The shower was really not good, bad smells came up frequently through the drains and there was mould on one of the bathroom walls. The windows in our room also opened directly to a bus stop on a busy road, which meant there was no privacy and constant noise. We got in fine but never once met anyone from the property in person. I expected more for the price.
