The property was directly acrss from Trevi Fountain so extremely busy. right outside door. Closed windows blocked out noise well. there was an elevator which was one of the reasons we chose the property for my mother. 15 steep stairs to breakfast so was not able to take advantage of the breakfast . Due to crowds outside the taxis had to pull up quite a bit aways so bringing luggage in was problematic. Would only give us onr hand towel for 3 people. Beds were comfortable.

We stayed in one of the Trevi view rooms & it was amazing. The view alone, I’d go back over and over again. The staff was warm and so nice! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the fountain was another highlight, then cocktails at night. We had an excellent time at this hotel and I’m already planning my trip back!!

Stayed here for the view of the fountain and it did not disappoint! Despite being in a very busy area of the city, the room was quiet. The room itself was fine, clean enough but there was a strong musty scent and some mold in the shower.

Wonderful, helpful staff, especially Camilla. Excellent breakfast with great view of the Trevi Fountain. Be advised that there will be loud, partiers outside at the fountain from midnight until 6:00 a.m. but we knew about that and booked anyway. Iconic spot was worth it.

Unbelievable location facing the Trevi fountain. We spent lots of time at our window and the bar on the top floor. The view is amazing! Centrally located to other attractions as well. Our room did not have a shower, only a bath tub.

The room itself isn’t horrible, but definitely don’t stay here if you want it to be quiet because it’s loud and hard to sleep. Adding a thicker better quality duvet, changing the fan that was about to fall off the ceiling and the moldy shower curtain would of made my stay a lot better. The only thing we liked was the location and the staff was nice but would never stay here again.

You couldn't ask for a better location than this hotel! It is literaly right in front of the Trevi Fountain. The staff were always fabulous, the breakfast on the rooftop looking out to the fountain was top notch (as were the staff)! The beds were ok, but they need some new pillows. Otherwise the room was great!

Hotel Fontana is directly across from Trevi Fountain. It was clean and decorated lovely. The only downfall was that it was extremely noisy due to the fountain being a major site attraction and hotel is a few feet across .

We liked the friendly staff. Breakfast was wonderful. Great location but lots of people around the Trevi Fountain and in front of the hotel. But we knew going into it that that would be the case, and it didn’t bother us.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic. Fabrizzio was so helpful, walking us around the corner to the taxi he called for us. Even chasing it down when they loaded up the wrong tourists. The entire staff treat you like family. Our room was beautiful, tastefully furnished with antiques. We were thrilled. Occupying a historic building dating from the 13th century, it was built hundreds of years before Trevi fountain. As such you dont expect a hotel with that much history to look like the Four Seasons, nor would you WANT it to. Instead you get a beautiful comfortable clean welcoming convenient place to stay, literally in the heart of the city. Considering the location is right across from the busy trevi fountain, you'll wade thru crowds to get to the lobby, but the moment you cross the threshold, its remarkably quiet, relaxing and welcoming. I slept so well. The breakfast room/bar on the top floor has a view of Trevi Fountain to die for, so even if you dont have a fountain view from your room, you can enjoy a world class view upstairs. (And do keep in mind if choosing a fountain-view room, the fountain stays busy late, so don't its unfair to complain about noise). I highly recommend Hotel Fontana

Pros: right across the Trevi fountain. Historical value. Very walkable to all other attractions. Cons: the room and bathroom is quite tiny. But it is still very clean. There will be noises from all the tourists outside at the trevi fountain, but I loved the atmosphere.
