The hotel staff was exceptional—professional, welcoming, and very accommodating. Shortly after we booked through Expedia, the hotel reached out to offer transportation services. For a fee, they arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and later return us for our departure. It was seamless and well-organized.
Our flight arrived early in the morning, and although check-in wasn't until after 2 PM, the staff welcomed us warmly. We completed the paperwork, dropped off our luggage, and were able to freshen up using the lobby facilities. When we returned later, our bags were already in the room, and all we had to do was pick up the key.
The hotel has a grand, old-world classic charm that makes a strong first impression. We booked a small, standard room—which is exactly what we got. It was clean but a bit worn; the carpet had some stains, the mattress was firm, and the pillows were quite flat. While the room could use some updating, the service and overall experience made up for it.
The location is excellent, with several bars and restaurants just steps away, and only a two/three-minute walk to Piazza del Popolo with plenty of high-end shopping. It’s slightly farther from some other major attractions, but still very manageable. I’d definitely stay here again.
