The hospitality here is unmatched! Karen was so kind and welcoming to us. We inquired regarding a mattress topper after our first night and they gladly installed one for us. Our stay at Merulana Inn was incredible.It is small hotel with only 6 rooms located in down town of Rome. Very clean, modern with touch of antics and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good with a lot of cold cuts,cheeses , fruits and pastries. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel home.

Excellent hotel. Very walkable from train with lots of dining options nearby. Better water pressure than I have at home in the States! Staff were all very lovely and breakfast was delicious. Will stay there again the next time we’re in Rome.

This was a great place to stay in Rome. Very convenient to the train station and very walkable to so many things. The room was clean and perfect for us. Karen, the front desk staff was so sweet and friendly and extremely helpful. ❤️ They had a breakfast every morning that was just right to start the day! The only thing to be aware of when booking a hotel in Italy in March/April is that it may be warm and AC is not turned on until later in the season. We ended up buying a fan to help and it worked out perfectly. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Not a traditional hotel but extremely pleasant! Just a door along a busy street near the Termini train station, but once upstairs and buzzed in, the staff spoke far better English than my rudimentary Italian deserved. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean. We were able to have two rooms (#s 5 and 6) which closed off from the main hallway. And most importantly, they let us check in at 10am! We were only going to drop off bags, but instead got to have a 2 hour nap before heading out to sightsee. Always a huge plus when you get off a plane after an overnight flight. The rooms have shutters to keep out light & noise. Breakfast was delicious- they had scrambled eggs, warm croissants, cereals, breads, meats & cheeses, good coffee and the best orange juice I’ve ever had. A wonderful start to our trip.

I like everything but is a little overpriced compared to more places around, I stay two nights but basically was just for shower and few hours to sleep, I found another place around for half price and breakfast included as well… I will recommend to look in the same area for half price just in case

Owner was the most hospitable. Place itself was clean, stocked up with basic things, and locationally was great as it as walkable to the train station. The only thing to note is that the rooms aren’t very sound proof, but we had no issues with noise during our stay.

Nice location not too far from termini station and coliseum. They charge additional fee for each person but that might be at every bnb in rome. Clean place. Couldve used more pillows! No smart TV. Overall nice stay.
