This was a great property. The owner was very welcoming, and it was extremely safe. There was police and guards right outside in front of our place across the street. It was literally 10 to 15 minute walking distance from most places like the Colosseum, Spanish steps, fountain of Trevi. The Vatican was an hour walking distance, which we did no problem. There was an amazing restaurant just across the street Great pizzas, pastas and coffees. Highly recommend and the prices were extremely reasonable. Just a few steps down the way was a café with pastries, Italian desserts, and fresh croissants and baked items. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station. Our room was extremely clean. Definitely would stay here again. We felt extremely safe and the owner that manage the place was very welcoming. The price is extremely reasonable.

No WiFi reception in the room. No hand or body soap, even on request ("not included" we were told), only 2 little shampoos. Roll of toilet paper already started. Old IKEA furniture. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Noise from street on Friday night. Another night, you could hear noise from pipes through the building. Only on the third day was the room cleaned. The windows and rusty shutters don't open and the curtain was torn. The bedspread had stains as did the mattress of the extra bed. The hot water in the shower was not enough for two people to shower. We don't understand how this place had good ratings by others. We don't look for fancy places, just a place to sleep and take a rest in the middle of the day but we refrained from resting because it was not pleasant to be in the room. One night a couple banged on the outside door for a long time around 11:00 PM. We eventually opened the door, but they couldn't get their room. They had notified they would arrive late but were not met as promised and they made phone calls. I guess eventually following our suggestion that they go to the adjacent Elide and ask for them to call the person to let them in to Garden Elide they got in. The cleanliness was reasonable. The mattress was terrible. The photos make it look better than it actually is. The television was on the table next to the refrigerator, not hung on the wall. We never saw other guests. They say you get what you pay for, but we feel we payed for things we didn't get.

Pictures are different from what it actually looks like. Bedding was an absolute disaster, with holes on sheets. Towels were put on a heater to dry up for the next day. Really??? i put them on the floor!. No SOAP, only shampoo that was half diluted. For a 1* maybe ok. No front desk after 6pm. Location was great though.

The property is extremely outdated, the tv did not work. The fridge makes sounds which made it a bit difficult to sleep. if you’re an American you will have to google how to turn on the heater, and even if on , the room is still very cold. No waste basket but a mini one in the restroom, thus cleaning was provided in a daily basis so not a huge problem. It has a mini fridge and the bathroom was spacious. The location is very convenient we were able to walk through downtown Rome and easily come back, without having to take Ubers or public transportation. Even though the staff does not really speak English they make a great effort to communicate, overall our stay was good specially for the price.

Very friendly staff. The room was of a good size and extremely clean and well kempt. The hotel is walking distance from Termini and within blocks from Via Nationale where you find buses and metro station. Also close enough to walk to most attractions and restaurants.

Easy to get to and convenient everywhere i walked was minutes away from activities museums. I had no problems with the room. You do have to pay tourist tax upfront but thats fine.

We just stayed one night. Check in was quick and easy. We were met by an Italian only speaker. Between my limited Italian and his limited English we were able to check in. I wasn't aware that the city tax, I knew we had to pay, that he would only take cash Euros and not a credit card. I had to go out and get more cash Euros (we were leaving at 5am the next morning for the US and had used up what we had). Minor inconvenience. The room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. It was to the back of the building so it was quiet at night. I would come back again. Oh there are no screen on the windows and the mosquitos/ no see-um must love American blood because my husband and I woke up with a dozen bites each. We only opened the window for a few minutes between arriving around 3pm and leaving for sight seeing and dinner at 4pm.Bring bug spray! We would stay here again on future trips.

Location okay, room size okay. However, no hot water, toilet was broken and shower door broken as well. It is okay for a last minute booking but plenty of better options. Also, no staff on the hotel, only in the mornings, everything else is self service. Staff did not respond to any complaints.
