Very Disappointed
Before I flew into Rome, I let the property know that I was going to be coming in at 11 PM at night. There was no mention of any extra charges due to that. as soon as I landed I was told there is €40 extra charge for late check-in, that was first. I did mention there was nothing said about the late check-in see I was told it was the company rules. When we walked in the first thing we saw a dead cockroach on the floor. Asked the manager about extra toilet paper I was told that we were given enough for our stay if we needed more we needed to buy ourselves. No extra linen or extra towels anywhere in the apartment. There was no paper towels in the kitchen, there is no coffee machine, the water in the shower does not go down there no Wi-Fi, even though it was Advertised. When we asked about Wi-Fi, he said that it was out for two weeks and there was nothing that could have been done. I feel that we should have been compensated for the fact that there was no Wi-Fi, especially since since they had two weeks to let us know to see if we wanted to make any changes in our stay. One of us needed to work while we were traveling, and she was unable to do so. There were also a very heavy smell in the apartment. We were not able to tell what it was. Only thing good thing about that apartment was the location. Close to metro. The apartment needs a lot of work to bring it up to rental status in my opinion. The size of the apartment is good enough for four people. It just needs a lot of TLC.
