"I recently had to stay a couple of nights, and chose the Delta in Guelph. I had lost power at home and could not keep my dog in a house without air conditioning or a fan during a heat wave. The Delta is very accommodating when it comes to pets, and I was grateful for that. The hotel and grounds were well maintained. The room was clean, with a fridge for any drinks/food and complimentary bottles of water that were replaced daily. My only qualms with the hotel are the following: when I booked, I chose breakfast to be added on. I would have appreciated, when checking in, to have this confirmed and explained to me how this works. I had to speak to several people in the morning when I was wanting breakfast to figure out how that worked (the customer service at the desk had zero idea). I was not asked during check in if I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member (I am) - this would have been nice. I also found out, while reading reviews online during my second night that the front desk can arrange for a complimentary pass to Movati - the gym who shares a parking lot with the hotel. Do you need to ask about this in order to find out? There must be an easier way for guests to come about this knowledge. Perhaps something can be included in the room about it, if your customer service staff don't wish to share this information? I will return to Marriott Bonvoy locations in the future, as they are typically reliable in cleanliness and reliability"
