Everything with the room was fine: clean, comfortable, quiet. But we were shocked to discover that we had been charged for overnight parking! This did not seem to be clearly indicated on the website or reservation, and we were not told about it when we checked in. The room is already overpriced, why charge for parking?

Apart from big cities like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, in all my travels in Canada and US I have never been charged for parking at a hotel in such a small city or town. Also the halls were noisy with what was hockey team kids running up and down the halls until midnight. This was not a quiet hotel at all. Will not stay here again.

Visited the hotel 2 years ago. Food improved a lot. Service in the restaurant was EXTRAORDINARY. However, the AC was incredibly noisy, reported it staff failed to fix it. Hotel is nice but it's getting old, needs retrofit. Staff at restaurant really good, front desk not so much.
