Heater was very noisy, didn’t sleep well. Phone was totally dead, only usb plugs were on tv. Only one tv station for kids. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was amazing

The hotel was as cold as it gets. They turned off the heat and didn’t even attempt to turn it on knowing how cold the weather was. I literally had to wear sweater to keep me warm while I go to bed.

Not the best hotel
The room itself wasn't bad. Not the cleanest, all the furniture in the room had some sort of damage. The bathroom was tiny. The shower looked like they tried to paint it and is now peeling. There was no hot water in the room. They gave us a key for another room to use and that also didn't have hot water. I don't recommend staying at this hotel. Maybe once they finish the renovations it will be better but it is not good right now

Hotel is under construction yet prices did not reflect this at all. Open ceiling tiles, unmarked parking areas and construction materials everywhere made the late check in frustrating. Bathroom had no toilet paper holder and roll in shower which we didn’t need but certainly important for some, just not us, and showers made the whole bathroom floor wet. Staff was friendly but at one point in the night someone tried to open our door and enter our room. My son had left the knob latch unlocked by accident and they were pushing full force. Thankfully he had closed the door latches. Hotel did not feel safe.

I never leave reviews, period. I have traveled in third world countries and stayed in youth hostels. This was worse. The hotel is not just dirty, it's filthy. Floors are gross with dust and dirt all over them. There was a half empty wine bottle on the floor of our room. Our room had clean linens and was quiet. I throughly checked for bed bugs are couldn't find any, thank god. The staff were friendly. The rooms had paper room numbers taped to the walls. One elevator was out with a sold out hotel. Panhandlers were in the lobby in the evening. The hotel is in a not so great area. Gym is under construction which is not mentioned anywhere until you get there. The neighborhood is not safe to run or walk in alone. Under construction. We paid $450 a night to stay there for the eclipse. Unbelievable. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Hotel was under some construction. No hot water in shower on morning of Wednesday, April 3. ... Also, no fault of the hotel, but very disappointing that there are few stores open in the vicinity of the restaurant. Very few coffee shops, stors, bars or restaurants in walking distance.

BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE!
I have spent well over 1,000 nights in hotels in my life. This was THE WORST EVER. If I had a dollar for every time I have heard "I'm sorry" at this hotel, I would have had a free stay. From the construction going on, to the horrible exterior conditions, to the obvious neglect, to the 20-minute check-in from a temporary desk, to the lack of hot water in an entire wing of the hotel, to the non-functional TV (not even hooked up) to their admission they should have never put us in that room in the first place, to the lack of basic ingredients for drinks at the bar, to week-old bar fruit, to the overpowering air freshener that had my wife's eyes tearing and a sheet over her nose, it has been a disaster since we got here. I stay at least a month a year, more like 6 weeks a year, on the road, and I have never seen a hotel this poorly maintained or staffed. It turns out they are housing undocumented migrants here during their "renovations." How that plays into all this is that their turning the hot water off was INTENTIONAL, because who's going to complain? Don't spend your hard-earned money here.

You pay for what you get. The room wasn’t cleaned prior and the heating system was broken leaving the room to be over 90degrees! No towels were left in the room and the bathroom wasn’t clean! Only stay here if absolutely necessary! There are other great hotels in this area!

Hammering & renovation noise in AM; Unacceptable!
Beware: Hotel is under renovation, and nobody seems to be on top of anything. We got back to our room after midnight. A sign on the front door said that it is locked after hours and to use the side door instead. A sign on the side door said that THAT door is locked after hours and to use the front door. The back door wouldn't take my keycard. Eventually a night manager (?) saw us and let us in through the side door, which he said is the door that should be used right now. He seemed unaware that the two entrances had signs providing conflicting information. The bedside outlets provided only very loose connections. I sleep with a medical device, which had trouble staying in the outlet until I propped up the plug to hold it the socket. Worst of all though: we were woken up early in the morning by the sounds of constant hammering and other construction noises! I know the place is undergoing renovations and I would otherwise be able to let the first two things slide, but this completely tears it! We ended up leaving before checkout time because we couldn't get back to sleep. The front desk clerk as we were checking out seemed surprised that they were doing work that early, saying that they weren't supposed to be doing that until after 11AM (Checkout time). Avoid!
