Beautiful hotel with lots of history, I highly recommend the mission tour. The standard room was disappointing no decor didn’t complement the beauty of the inn. Outside of the room the hotel is amazing. Bar prices were a bit steep however very good cocktails. We skipped dinner at the steakhouse due to Good Friday and decided to try the mission inn restaurant, worst food to say the least. The cipino was the worse I have ever had, lacking seafood served in broth of dirty dish water, the shrimp fettuccine was equally bad, lacking flavor , the noodles appeared to have been broken into 5” pieces.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean however they are rustic so for the price a little high many things to do there shopping is great. The architecture is superb fun to explore the building and area.

The room was dated. Sparsely decorated. Felt like old motel. The location was terrible, right above the street. The noise from the street performers was loud and went late. Dined at Duane’s; food was mediocre. Service was meh. Mission Inn is no longer the upscale experience it once was. That was my last visit.
