Walk everywhere or catch a tour or taxi right in front. It is loud due to the Cascada bar upstairs but that didn’t bother me. I joined the fun and went to sleep afterwards. My balcony room was great. 402. View of the ocean and the city. The reviews about the carpet were not accurate on my floor - 3. Carpets were clean and new. No worries about security. Most nights there was a security guard at the entrance. The door to the floors can only be accessed with room card Mar Y Tierra restaurant was great. I ate there a few times. "Check-in was smooth and easy, which I appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. The towels in the bathroom were in poor condition, and my daughter had to request a bed change because there were hairs on the sheets and the comforter appeared dirty inside. Additionally, I experienced some bites during my stay that I suspect may have been from bed bugs, which is very concerning—especially given that the property is relatively new. We also had to request a refill for the conditioner, which should have been taken care of without needing to ask. The breakfast was overpriced for the quality of food offered, which added to the overall disappointment. I also want to mention that we tipped the housekeeping staff a total of $65 over our 5-night stay, as we genuinely appreciate their work. Overall, while the check-in process was fine, the lack of cleanliness and these issues significantly impacted our stay. "
