Pros: Absolutely beautiful resort with a calm lagoon that's safe for swimming. Great location for scuba divers. Ocean Encounters diving was very professional with very knowledgeable dive masters. They offer free tanks to use on their house reef on any day you pay for a boat trip. Cons: Food and drinks were good but very expensive. I understand that this is a small island nation and almost everything is imported but it's still pricey compared to Aruba or other places in the Caribbean. The resort is dead in the evening with very little night time entertainment. There was a small band playing on only one of the six nights we stayed there. That was the only night the resort was busy. My biggest complaint. We went to "Hemmingways" on the beach for coffee on our first morning. The hostess asked for our room number. We said that we didn't want to pay for breakfast and just needed coffee. She replied that there was no charge for breakfast and we could just get coffee if that's all we wanted. At checkout, we were charged over $240 for breakfast. I explained what the hostess had said but they wouldn't remove the charges. Most expensive coffee we've ever had.

We knew nothing about this resort. We booked it because we got a great deal on Expedia. This is an amazing resort. It’s at the end of the beach so you don’t have anyone walking by. You’re right next to Mambo Beach Boulevard, which is a large dining and entertainment complex. The resort itself has three or four restaurants.

Beautiful grounds and lots of dining options within walking distance. Gorgeous landscaping and general setting; lots of beach, loungers, bars, restaurants..so very convienent and relaxing! An area for rinsing our feet (foot shower so to speak) would have been nice when coming off the beach to go back to our room.

We will definitely be staying at Lions Dive for our next visit to Curacao. It fit our needs perfectly! We love having the dive shop on property. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff was also very attentive.

The property was close proximity (walkable) to the aquarium and mambo blvd that had many restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The property was close to activities such as Eric’s ATV.

The staff and servers in the hotel make the whole experience. Ate twice in Nemos with the wonderful Jasper and company making it a memorable experience. However when I booked in I explained I’d be travelling with my Mom with mobility issues. We were given a room quite a distance away and only one king bed. They are stated it was only a request booked by Expedia and brought in a cot for 2 nights. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with a booking with an outside party and they said if I booked direct they likely would have given me 2 full beds. To be honest I was not happy and rather than making an issue to the start of my holiday I let it go. You decide what you would do. Since we were only there 2 nights before our cruise I thought, l thought lesson learned… always book direct.

A great resort, everything needed in one place. Super close to mambo Beach shops and restaurants, having the aquarium walkable on another bonus. He didn’t need to leave the resort, however, very easy to travel into the capital and all the other amazing beaches and experiences around.
