The property was not as advertised. The host forgot to mention that this is a basement suite with a noisy family living upstairs, making it impossible to get any peace and quiet and not ideal for people who work remotely.
The suite smelled of chemical cleaners, especially the bathroom. The window in the bedroom lacked a screen making it impossible to "air out" without letting predators in, especially bugs which are plentiful at this time of the year.
The location of the property is not central, and among tightly built tenement housing. It is was nearly impossible to find street parking.
After spending an hour and a half trying to sort out the deficiencies, I found other accommodation. A lesson learned that what is advertised is not necessarily what you get.
