I had one night in Reading and this was perfect for that. It's a super easy walk from the train station, and very easily walkable to the city center. There were lots of great options for food and shopping. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe during my whole stay. The room was simple, but comfortable, and there was a nice touch with the kettle and some hot drink options in the room.
