The loft is decorated beautifully, centrally located and was spotless. We used this as our home base as we visited the area’s sites from the Badlands to Spearfish Canyon and the monuments of Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. Loved meeting Maci and finding the perfect pair of jeans in her boutique below. Parking is a little hairy - we got a ticket on the first day which Maci graciously offered to pay. My only suggestion would be that you bring sleep masks. The lights shine like Q-beams through the primary bedroom windows. Although there are shades, they are not blackout ones so the room lights up at night. Lastly, we alway prefer to rent while on vacation because we like to cook our own meals. The kitchen is minimally outfitted for cooking (no measuring cup, one single pan, one pot, no lids that fit, etc). Overall, we would recommend Hay Camp Loft and would certainly book it again. Thank you, Maci!
