"good place to stay"
It was my first trip to Quito. The hotel is close to the airport and it has a free shuttle service. The staff is accommodating and gave me a quiet room away from elevator noise and the main avenue in front of the hotel. The rooms are big -just like a suite- clean and have comfortable pillows... And, for those who like gambling, there is a casino at the lower level that can be very entertaining.

"Incredible facilities well preserved as a Hacienda"
We stayed in this Hacienda Hotel because we needed to go very early to the airport. We looked in diferent sites and found this in Travelocity and booked two rooms with them. We arrived a little bit late at night 9 PM and they were expecting us. They showed the incredible facilities of a very well preserved Hacienda with lots of collectible artifacts and very nice stuff. We searched in the Internet for a Hotel near the Airport because we didn't want to go back to Quito and make the hour and a half trip, so we stayed in this hotel. The only thing I regret is not having enough time to enjoy the facilites because we leave the Hotel at about 4:00 AM for a very early flight back home. They even prepared breakfast for us at that time! Excellent attention and very nice and clean rooms.

"Modern but Rustic Bed & Breakfast in Quito"
This hotel was wonderful! The staff are super nice and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay in Quito enjoyable. Most rooms are tiny but comfortable with T.V. good water pressure in sink and shower. Sound proof windows which really helps if you get a room with a balcony so you can have a view of the street outside. Their is a rooftop terrace with amazing views of Quito and a lounge type area with a couch also with great views of the city. The only problem is that we were only in Quito for two nights and would have loved to have stayed longer, especially at the hotel. They have 24 hour coffee and tea available. The breakfast is included and it's from 7:30-11AM daily and it includes: wonderful coffee from Quito, fresh tropical fruit, fresh natural juice, freshly made local yogurt and an amazing cheese also from the same person who makes the yogurt, fresh bread from the bakery, butter, jam, ham and turkey deli meats, eggs made to order, cereal, granola, milk, some type of sweet banana bread -was FANTASTIC!

"Was a nice hotel, good staff, were only there briefly one night. Arrived after 11:00 pm and left at 7:30 the next morning."
Did not pick us up at the airport. We arrived in Quito at 10:30 pm and van driver said they only picked up Delta flyers. We arrived on United. We took a taxi. They stored our bags for us the next morning for our meeting and allowed us to collected them later.

"An incredible value for the money!"
When I arrived at my room, the staff had upgraded me to a larger suite - more than I had agreed to pay for at the same rate. Upon checking in I a received a voucher for a free drink. I was expecting a coke or some equally mundane refereshemnt. Not so! It was for an exotic, eight dollar, Caribbean house special, called a Caiparinia, that blew my mind in its quality. The room was sumptuous and inviting. The view was amazing and a true photo op. I have traveled a great deal both domestically and to thirty-three countries overseas. This ranks right up there with the best hotel deals of all time for me.

"Awesome bed-and-breakfast in the center of things."
Quito positively buzzes with life, but when you step through the door at Casa El Eden, the chaos just melts away. The house is beautifully restored and everything was immaculately clean from the beautiful shower to the ever-so-comfy bed. The owners are warm and friendly. Offering suggestions about sights to see and good places to eat and leading us through the directions for getting there, Mario acted as a concierge- phoning ahead to restaurants and calling taxis and other transportation. Blanqui once walked us to a nearby restaurant spur of the moment when we were confused about its location. So much service, but not overly intrusive at all. We were usually quite tired upon returning to the hotel and were never taxed by extended conversation at unwanted times. Emailing ahead of our flight about a trip to the Otavalo market, we were set up with a brilliant Ecuadorian guide, Carlos. Carlos is very fluent in English, really knowledgeable about all aspects of Ecuador, and an amazing spirit. We took four day trips with Carlos, including an amazing trek up Cotapaxi volcano, and I was able to successfully climb to 16,000 ft with his guidance. I would have never thought it possible and was extremely moved. Try to get his services.
