Room was well appointed, staff was accommodating, and location was within walking distance of downtown Queenstown. We were thrilled that they checked our extra luggage between our two stays with them. Great view of the sunrise/sunset from our corner room, but minor street noise as the compromise. No A/C, so you will need windows open in the summer. With a family of four, Amity Queenstown was such an improvement over a traditional hotel.

Rooms were dated - walk to centre was longer than expected - similar priced accommodation closer to centre and newer - staff were lovely - would have been more acceptable if we had hired a car as we did for Auckland to Wellington leg.

The staff was very kind and you can see that working very hard to keep up with the place. The room was a little bit dated, but finally appointed with everything that was needed. It was very blue when I was there, and they had fans to help. Keep the place a bit cooler at night. The location is good as you can walk to the downtown.. A pretty good location overall
