We recently stayed here with a big group of friends and family—11 adults and 8 kids under 6—and overall, the experience was fantastic! The service stood out thanks to amazing staff members like Ana at the Market buffet, Romeo at Caracol, Christian at the Bungalow, Arturo at Filia, and the incredible beach and pool servers who kept everyone happy and hydrated. Special shoutout to Mauricio, our butler, who went above and beyond to help us coordinate dinner reservations for our large group, even through three birthday celebrations. The beach was a dream—clear, calm, and peaceful. The location is ideal, and the amenities were solid, especially the awesome waterpark (a big hit with the kids!) and the adorable kids club with a fun outdoor play area. There were also shows almost every night, special shoutout to a music band that played our last night there and made us danced with its fun lead singer Gloria. We enjoyed delicious lunches at Cleo, where fresh fish and grilled seafood were a standout, and also loved grabbing food at The Bungalow by the beach. If you go, don’t miss Filia—the Italian food there was top-notch.The family pool was a bit on the small side considering is for families. A couple of downsides: one night we were seated on the terrace at Union, and the heat made it tough to enjoy enjoy the meal—Jonathan, our waiter, was the highlight for trying to get us through it quickly and kindly. And one evening our jacuzzi was scalding hot, which was a safety concern.

What truly stood out was how well the resort accommodated food allergies. Service & Responsiveness From check-in to check-out, the staff were warm, professional, and proactive. Housekeeping, concierge, room service, and poolside staff were quick to respond and always respectful. Cleanliness Our room was refreshed daily, with fresh linens and well-stocked amenities. Housekeeping was consistent and efficient, always working quietly and without disruption. Shared spaces like the lobby, hallways, pool area, and restaurants were spotless.

This place is exceptional! The food was amazing, the amenities were top tier and the resort was so beautiful. The only area for concern is how hot the stone walkways become in the day and poor markings for ledges and steps, making the resort a little pit of a trip hazard. Grip tape or a reflective strip could make a world of a difference. Special kudos to the following people who were awesome during our stay. Very beautiful, relaxing and attentive staff. I got the Elite package, I recommend it for people who enjoy the spa as it comes with 1 day pass for their beautiful spa, and an assigned butler that helped with reservations to all the restaurants we wanted (amazing food at Caracol and Union) Also comes with in room dining which was convienent. A lot of bars to check out, such as a cigar bar, speakeasy, sports bar and more! I absolutely loved that we had day beds by the pool and beach reserved for Elite guest. We are definitely planning on going back, might skip on the Elite package next time due to the price but definitely worth it. The staff was simply amazing!!

I would’ve given this resort a 5-star rating, but there were a few issues with the room and one of the restaurants we visited. The resort is beautiful, and the entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! However, the room’s air conditioner wasn’t working properly. It only blew air, not cold air, which was incredibly humid and uncomfortable. They sent someone to check it out, and he claimed to have fixed the problem, but it didn’t work again. We slept in those conditions for two nights in a row! Finally, we were assigned a new room, and the difference was dramatic. I think the previous room was just a bad one. The shower door didn’t close properly, and the overhead shower continued to leak, even though we switched to the handle-held showerhead. On a positive note, the food was great, except for Cielo. For some strange reason, we weren’t served our meals until 50 minutes after we ordered. We watched everyone who came in after us get their food before us. All the other restaurants were amazing, though!

New hotel in a nice area, plenty of restaurants for dinner. However for breakfast only the buffet is open and for lunch three restaurants are open which you did not need reservations. Bad news is that for dinner you need reservations to restaurants and no one tells you ghis at check-in which would have been great. Overall good hotel amazing staff and nice beach.

We had an amazing experience at SLS Playa Mujeres. We loved the food and drinks. It was delicious and similar to fine dining experiences back home. The quality was great! A highlight was Press and Verde, where we would get yummy lattes and fresh smoothies/juices every morning. The staff at the Press were great! The restaurants and food were amazing. Our favourite a la carte restaurant was the Mexican Caracol, but all of them had delicious food and attentive staff. Shoutout to the entire team at Caracol for such an amazing and delicious dining experience! The hotel was beautiful with so many relaxing, peaceful spots. The architecture is cool and perfect for photos. I loved the neutral colours and designs. The adults only pool and lunch spot Twiggy is where we spent most of our time. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Roberto, Ever, and Adonis were great!! The pool is beautiful and had shaded and shallow areas for convenience. Even the pool lounge chairs were comfy and cute. Highly recommend! Our hotel room (ocean view) was beautiful. We loved the view and balcony. The floor to ceiling window doors that open all the way were a special touch. We loved that the room came stocked with snacks and a mini bar that were restocked daily. The only thing I didn’t like was that you could see into the shower from the bedroom. I do not recommend sharing the room with anyone you wouldn’t want watching you shower. The staff at the concierge were extremely helpful.

Sls was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. The beach was pretty and the waves calm. Restaurants were great. However, the service was excellent and really made this place stand out.
