An attractive small property with friendly staff. Very quiet area in walking distance to bus terminal, shops and eating places. Garden setting very appealing, providing shade. Food in restaurant was usually good. We had one poorly cooked, tough, fatty beef meal. Breakfast was quite satisfying and simple.

Needs refirbishment

The room was in need of refurbishment, no mattress protectors, broken tiles in bathroom, taps don’t work properly, bathroom door does not close and needs more lighting and pool needs cleaning .However staff very friendly and were a bonus to the hotel.

The staff are very helpful and it was good to have the recommended Jasy restaurant so close for dinner. The accommodation is very rustic, a little too rustic for our liking, and needed some refurbishment, especially the bathroom. We had a comfortable double bed on the mezzanine whilst downstairs there was a further double and 3 single beds which we did not use. For the price it seems to be very good value but we should have stayed somewhere else to get more facilities in the room. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the town centre and it’s restaurants but the final approach to the hotel is not brilliant.

This is a less than 1 star Hotel. For folks from the US, note that the quality of rooms is less than what you find in Motel 6. The walls are unfinished, the bathroom is old and needs major fixing. The water pressure is low, the taps are leaky, the floor and wall has cracks. The pillows had lumps

Lovely place

Really enjoyed my stay here, this is a small hotel in a lovely surounding, our room was very spacious and done in a log cabin effect, the restaurant/ bar was good the pool was in a nice area the place has a lot of trees around it which gives it a peaceful and charming feel the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was quite basic no hot food, is about 15/20 min walk to bus station

Full of character! A good option!

This hotel is a little out of the way of the main town (about a 15 min walk along cobbled hilly streets), which didn’t bother us at all. This hotel is full of character, and if you ignore the other houses immediatley next door you feel like you’re right in the forest! Our room was huge and could sleep up to 6 (4 single beds downstairs, and a double upstairs). The double bed was massive and very comfy! The upstairs lead onto a lovely balconly with chairs to relax in. Bathroom could do with updating, but everything worked so we didn’t mind at all. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was delicious!! I’d highly reccommend the Pacu (river fish). The service was great too. After our dinner we were excited for breakfast, and were a little disappointed when it was just cold options laid out, but it was well stocked and OK. The staff we friendly and accommodating and helped us with all our questions about the falls.

Rustic hotel but needs some refurbishment.

This is a lovely rustic hotel but needs a refurbishment. The swimming pool definitely needs attention, the common areas also need some attention. The restaurant area is very nice but looks out on to a family home with extremely noisy children and dogs. There was a power failure one night and the staff were very slow to react. No candles were given out, the walkway to the rooms from the restaurant were dark and again no effort to make it safe. Also the hotel does not accept credit or debit cards. Overall enjoyed our stay just little things that could make it excellent instead of just good.
