Wonderful spa! Hotel not so much. I was expecting a 4 star Hyatt. But it is more like 2 stars. Restaurants had kimited menus and poor food. I sent mine back. The bed was uncomfortable and had the worst quality of bedding!!

We enjoyed our night at the Elms in late August. The rooms were updated & comfy, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely - it would be a beautiful location for a fall getaway. They have a nice pool, hot tub, several fire pits & conversation areas for guests. One thing to be aware of - there is one small elevator for 5 floors. It wasn’t a problem while we were there, but it could be an issue for a large group. I would absolutely go back!

Nearly everything about my stay was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the food in the restaurant was incredible, the paranormal tour was a lot of fun, if maybe a little too expensive, and the service was fantastic. The only, extremely minor, issue was that the room was a little small, a tiny bit outdated, and didn't have a mini-fridge

We had such a surprising and relaxing weekend at The Elms. Our favorite was the spa and grotto. We appreciated that the staff did make rounds in the grotto, to remind some of the bachelorette party members to keep voices down. The food was good, the suites were spacious, and the grounds were very well kept. The morning Cafe/coffee bar is in desperate need of staff, but they managed despite the long line. Overall, we would stay again!

Excellent remodeled hotel whose origin dates back to the 1880's. Fun pool atmosphere. Fitness center was disappointing due to an ongoing remodel. Three Owls restaurant was delicious.

I had heard so much about the Elms over the years that I had to come here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the historic aspect of the hotel and amenities. The rooms and general area around the hotel are clean and in good condition. The lap pool is currently closed due to a storm that created a leak. I was disappointed in this fact, but after seeing the actual lap pool, I pictured it differently, maybe a bit nicer. Although the room was okay, it was a bit small, and the bathroom was particularly small. The shower was tiny and the area around its base was very oxidized and could benefit from an update. The only issue I had with the hotel was the extra charges, such as a "destination fee," when the hotel in general is benefiting from people visiting it. There isn't any reason to charge anyone for a destination fee. Also, they charge for parking!
