Nice host, but it’s a NO for me…
My boyfriend and I were DREADING to come back to this place after going out somewhere. It’s a basement - flat out. It still smells musty, even with the help of plug-ins and candles. Sheets were dirty and had dark stains and makeup stains on them. The TV/Wifi did not work the majority of the time. Bathroom smelled like mildew and they have a shower mat that looks like it’s never been cleaned. The “extras” such as toiletries were used by previous guests, which is disgusting. Most of the food, condiments, seasonings, etc were expired. Some dated back to 2013.
My last night staying, I was up at 4:00 AM due to toilet water leaking from the bedroom ceiling. The host was attentive, maintenance arrived, and that was all great, however that was my last straw. I feel bad for whoever stayed after us because that carpet was saturated in commode water and the ceiling began to break apart where the water was leaking from, which didn’t seem like much of a concern since I was rushed out to leave at noon. Maybe other guests had better experiences, but mine was terrible.
I do not recommend. Too many issues for such a small space.
