Work crew guest parked in handicap parking. Not enough handicap rails in proper place for toilet and need different type door to bathroom for more privacy. Lighting in room was extremely dim! Need much brighter lighting in room. Had 2 full size beds in room, Need at least one queen or king size bed in the handicap room. And a reclining chair instead of the sitting chair.

This was supposed to be a NON-SMOKING HOTEL!! Our room wreaked of cigarette smell and there was only 1 large towel when our room had 2 adults in it. We requested a handicapped room and received and upstairs room, No there wasn't an elevator for us to ride in either!! Worst experience ever!

Nice check-in friendly staff. The condition of the property is pretty bad. No working lights in the stairwell to the second floor rooms. The overall condition of the grounds is not good. The breakfast was also poor compared to most Wyndoms. Staff was friendly and helpful

Just gross

We booked this hotel for our family for a dance comp in town. We thought from the pictures it wouldn't be too bad; just dated. However; we were wrong. We got to our room and the toilet had urine on the seat and feces down the side. The mattress was a brown/yellow and there were bugs in the fridge. I went to the front and asked about a refund after explaining what I saw. I feel that if you cant clean what's obvious; I can't trust that you're cleaning the things that aren't as obvious. The man at the front would not refund our money and instead just said they could come clean the toilet. Some things can't be unseen. I'm not in need of anything fancy; but I do expect basic cleanliness. Needing updating is one thing; but there's no excuse for that. We left within 15 minutes of checkin and went to the holiday inn across the street.

My room was so musty smelling i had to leave the door open and it still didn't air out. The tub wouldn't drain when i showered and the food on the breakfast buffet was ice cold Saturday morning. Some people put their sausage and eggs in the microwave so they could eat it The coffee pot was empty and nobody around working the buffet

Not what it once was

We had stayed at the Lamplighter for years and once Days Inn bought this property I figured we would still try it. Will not be back. Check in was a hassle with no one in the lobby. Had to call someone to come help me with check in ? Then room was ok but a few lights and blow dryer didn’t work.
