We wanted to love this property, but it was obvious it wasnt taken care of. Day of check in we noticed the grass around the house was entirely too high, red wasps claimed a spot every 10 foot or so around the roof and the swing, photographs of the property were outdated, the pond is not close to an acre and severly neglected and a bag of rotten garbage was left in the garage. After making a grocery order for 4 days of food to feed 11 people, we discovered the refrigerator was not cooling. Contacted the manager and had to call back multiple times for an update on fixing the problem. While waiting for an answer, we discovered one of the AC units did not have power. We called back to inform the POC for the property but the calls went unanswered. It was not until i emailed the property manager that i received a text from the POC advising someone would respond. After the AC was fixed and the mini refrigerator arrived, we attempted to relax in the hot tub only to find the breaker would trip if the jets were turned on. Frustrated with the day we attempted to put the kids down to bed and discovered the toliet in the bunk room would only flush when it wanted to. Over all it was painfully obvious no one checks the property prior to renters arriving. If it were not for Mr Calvin, the grass would not have been cut nor would we have had a mini refrigerator to hold what cold food we could shove into it. Mr calvin went above and beyond to check on us and apologize for the inconveniences.
