Bear Hugs

Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

While there are a few cabins in Pigeon Forge near mountain streams, Bear Hugs memorably features its own private footbridge over a babbling brook. Cross over the bridge to enter your fairy-tale castle, pausing to watch the water gush underneath you before admiring the beautiful warm wood cabin with green shutters and door in front of you.

Bear Hugs is no less delightful inside than out, with an open living area that feels airy thanks to its high ceilings, but cozy due to its leather sofa and wide fireplace. Start a fire in the stone-flanked hearth and warm your hands on the flames, before cuddling up on the sofa.

This one-bedroom cabin is a great spot to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary, or simply to get some much-needed alone time. Take a book onto the porch swing on the covered front patio and enjoy the crisp morning air. Relax with your sweetheart and when you are finished, a queen-sized bed awaits.

Only two-and-a-half miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Bear Hugs is a lovely space to which to return after a fun day hiking in the Smokies, shopping at the outlet malls in Pigeon Forge, or enjoying the attractions in Gatlinburg.

With your reservation, enjoy one FREE Ticket to each of these attractions: Paula Dean's Lumberjack Dinner Show, Wonderworks, Smoky Mountain Observation Wheel, NASCAR Speedpark, Rocky Top Mountain Coaster and Skyland Ranch, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Fox Fire Adventure Park, and County Tonight (a $305.00 Value) as well as Exclusive Discounted Tickets to Anakeesta, Hatfield & McCoy, Dolly's Stampede, Comedy Barn and more.

The property was lovely. Very clean and easy to access. I really enjoyed the whorl pool tub. Mild complaints would be I wish we would have known there was not a lot of green space surrounding the area. It made it a little hard to take care of the dog. Also whorl pool tub was a little hard to enjoy. The instructions asked for a minimum of 2 inches of water above the jets before cutting it on. At that point the water was cold and the bath was lukewarm at best.

The ease of booking with Vacasa was not there, asked about early check in and never got a response either way. Home was older and in need of a reno and located right on a main road with a lot of traffic. No backyard access to walk my service dog. Home was clean and good for if you just want to come back to stay. Bed was not comfortable and the mattress needs to be replaced, toilet paper was like John Wayne paper

Property was fine it would be nice if there was a closet so we can hang out clothes we had our clothes in the suitcase the whole time. Even though the inside was clean the front porch is very dirty.

The cabin has only. 1 door to get in/out. The area is noisily as you’re not in the mountains but you’re in a neighborhood with a lot of traffic. The shower has a hole in the wall, which was really creepy. We figured out that it’s from the original towel bar, but it’s still creepy. Our towels had long black wavy hair on them, and we shave shorter blonde hair. The AC works well and there is WIFI & cable TV.

Great Stay, Needs better Communication

Our stay was great. We rented this cabin again because we loved it last year. Everything was nice & clean. The only problem was not having enough bath towels, there were 2 of us & only 1 towel. Luckily, my sister brought a towel from home. We didn't get our breakfast voucher this time like last year because they're office was closed & they moved location. I emailed them about not having enough towels and how to get the breakfast voucher, but got no response so we missed out on getting the breakfast voucher. Other than that it is a very nice place to rent!

Great place to stay!

Cabin was very clean, easy to find, very comfortable and close enough to activity without being right in the middle of the noise and crowd. The bed was comfortable but the shower could use a new shower head and we couldn't use the jets on the tub due to not having enough hot water to fill it up.

Excellent Location

The property was located a short distance up the mountain from town and was very easy to get to and plenty of parking space. The cabin was small but had everything one needed. We would go there again.

This is a property that needs repair.

The property on the inside looked exactly like the pics in the advertisement, but not the outdoor pic. There's no room to walk ur dog. This property is shoved up against a road. There's not enough room for a total of 4 cars in the parking area, which is different than the instructions they give u once u rent. When u try to take ur dog out, There's a TINY patch of weeds directly in front of the cabin(2ftX2ftX2ft). If u try to cross the road directly across the street, There's about 8in of grass before it drops off a couple of feet to the little creek. If u go left There's only muddy slope to creek that is impossible to make back up hill due to muddy slope. If u go right, There's another cabin with a big patch of indoor fake grass....but it's on the neighboring cabins property. Also, the entire cabin was damp. I've never rented a cabin that was damp. I've looked at a house for sale that was damp that really needed to be condemned & demolished. The couch & bed felt damp. I got a chill when I got out of the shower. I left a day early since I wanted to go home just so I could take a shower & not get a chill when I got out. Also the toilet wouldn't fill up but about 1 1/2 in & then stop. I had to manually flush, take lid off back, press the stopper down, & return lid EVERY SINGLE TIME I FLUSHED. Not happy. Would not recommend this property to anyone...especially any1 with a dog.
