We had a trip planned for a weekend in Philadelphia for the 5 of us. We reserved 2 rooms at this motel 6 like months in advance. On the hotels.com website, we selected the option to pay on site instead of ahead of time, in case plans changed. The day finally came, and when we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that our reservation was canceled. They said that they tried to charge us the day before check in, and that the charge was declined, so the reservation was canceled. Now, besides the fact that we elected to pay when we arrived, there were also no attempeted charged on my listed card. I presented this information to the person at the desk, and he just kept telling me its their policy. Additionally, they said I only had 1 room reserved, even though I was able to produce a recipt proving I had 2 rooms reserved, to which his answer was to shrug his shoulders. Heres my favorite part, he still magically had 2 rooms available, but because it was last minute, and everything was sold out in town(Metallica was in town, and so was Jelly roll) then it was double the cost. We called every place around and nothing was available with the accomodations we needed at the time, as we had our 2 dogs with us. Well, we reluctantly accepted the offer of the 2 rooms for double the cost, and made out way to our rooms. You'll see in the photos what we walked into. We stayed one night, and the next day we were able to get into a 4 points near by, FOR THE SAME PRICE this dump charged us.
