Nice clean rooms

Let’s start with the positives. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, both at check in and our shuttle driver to the airport. I was quite disappointed with the lobby area, which is uninviting and feels sterile. I had some time to kill and there is nowhere to go without a car, so I had hoped to be able to hang out in the lobby for a bit, but it was so uncomfortable that I ended up seeking shelter in the Embassy Suites lobby / bar area, which is next door. The lobby could benefit from being redone much cozier from lighting to furniture. I was also unsure if there was a bartender, as other guests ended up paying their snacks at the front desk, which added to the uninviting atmosphere. Overall, it was fine, but for the price, I expected a nicer ambience in the main lobby/checkin area and overall.

I waited for one hour at the airport to be picked up, called several times and spoke to the hotel, explained where I was, and no one showed up. I finally got an uber. When i arrived at the hotel, very frustrated, the front desk attendant insinuated I was l lying, and that the driver went to pick me up and I wasn‘t there. Gave me my keys without giving me a single explanation about the property. I had a first floor room, bed extremely soft, my husband got a back ache the next morning, shower head water had no pressure. When checking out, we were supposed to have scheduled the shuttle in advance, but no instructions were giving. Luckly someoned didn‘t show up and I was able to get the van back to the airport. Location is very isolated and far from the city.

The staff was great and responsive when we needed assistance. If I have any complaints is during breakfast. The staff member was overwhelmed trying to help everyone as well as possible. She needed more help to make her work easier and the guests experience enjoyable.
