Good value

For the price, Mami is great. The bed was fairly comfortable, comes with a mosquito net which IS needed because there are open-air windows. The owner, Gede was really nice, he even arranged breakfast for us super early on our last morning so we could beat the traffic and leave by 6:30am! There is no hot water however or air con, and it's a couple km from the "main" strip of Pemuteran but we had a motorbike so it was fine. Good value if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a couple nights in the area.

We had a wonderful host. In bali, everyone is very kind, but he was in another league. The guesthouse in itself was quite nice too. We had a car to move around so for the price it was perfect. The room was quite big. Some insects, but he provides a net with repellant so it was okay.

The staff is the best, always friendly, trying to help and proposing all the surrounding activities at a very low price. They found us an amazing guide to the national park, to trek in the jungle and to do some bird watching. However, I recommend divers to dive and not to snorkel, it's expensive but totally worth it, compare to snorkeling which is just expensive from my point of view. The room on the other end, (we had a regular one) was very small, not very clean and the bathroom is the minimum you can expect: a shower with only cold water and directly next to the toilets without any separation. All in all the home stay is awesome thanks to the people but I would recommend you to take a luxurious room at least for a bit of comport. And try their mango, it's the best I've had in the island :)

GĂ©rant pas arrangeant

À l arrivĂ©e, le gĂ©rant(Ardek) nous demande un supplĂ©ment d'argent car il a donnĂ© notre chambre Ă  d autres, prĂ©textant un problĂšme avec expĂ©dia, avec lequel on a rĂ©servĂ©. On a Ă©tĂ© obligĂ© de prendre une chambre soit disant supĂ©rieure ou bien prendre une chambre infĂ©rieure qui Ă©tait dĂ©gueulasse. Le gĂ©rant ne nous dit pas bonjour sauf pour nous proposer les activitĂ©s payantes(et chĂšres) de l'hĂŽtel. Les draps ne sont pas changĂ©s, toilettes cassĂ©es, eau froide pour la douche. Nous avons du quĂ©mander du papier toilette car pas renouvelĂ©. Petit dĂ©jeuner limite. Seul point positif:la gentillesse des employĂ©s qui semblent "maltraitĂ©s" par le gĂ©rant qui passe son temps Ă  compter son argent, fumer ses cigarettes et donner des ordres Ă  ses employĂ©s.

Cheap but not clean, only cold shower

We got a very dirty room, e.g. hairs in the sink, spiderwebs everywhere, dirty linen, full ashtry (we donÂŽt smoke), no toilet paper, one towel for two people. Staff didnÂŽt help regarding the moscitos because didnÂŽt understand English. The breakfast was poor. The street is very close and the neighbours are loud.

very pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing

It was a very pleasant stay in a big and beautiful room with an extremely friendly and helpful staff, that provided breakfast even at two in the afternoon, because we woke up very late. We were also granted late check out. Thank You very much and hope to see You again.
