My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 14 nights. The apartment is spacious and clean. Yohann is very responsive to questions. The location is convenient and close to restaurants, shopping, and metro. Wi-Fi works great. Washer and dryer were wonderful to have! The kitchen is stocked for dining and cooking, although we did not cook at all. We really appreciated the drip coffee pot, Dolce coffee machine [uses special pods], and microwave in the morning. As shown in the photos there are 3 bathrooms, one next to the kitchen with a toilet only, one with a shower, sink and washer and dryer, and one with a sink, shower, and toilet. Having a small toilet room with no sink is unique for Americans but seems to be common in Paris. The first bedroom has a leak in the ceiling from the apartment above that has obviously been there a long time, a bucket is on the floor to catch the water. Fortunately, the leak is not over the bed. There is a curving wooden set of wooden stairs leading to the 1st floor apartment – no elevator. The street is as described ‘active in the evenings’, the ladies of the night are mostly out in the day and early evening. We had no issues with safety.

Location was very convenient—metro nearby with stops at Cite and Luxembourg. There are some women of the night nearby during the day but they were harmless. The apartment set-up was perfect for us—one set of grandparents and our two kids with their families and two toddlers. The kitchen was amply supplied. I had one gripe but let me first be clear. The host disclosed his policy in the listing although I had not focused on it and it would not have changed our decision to stay. They provided one bath towel per adult which meant 6 towels for us and 0 for the toddlers. There was one hand towel in each of the two bathrooms and two dish towels. Also the soap dispensers were almost empty and the drier had not been cleaned. The lint filter was full as was the water container where the moisture from the clothes accumulated (the drier is not vented.) But the drier situation was minor—it just took us a bit to figure out why the drier would not work. If the host had a closet where he put extra towels and sheets (and maybe soap for the soap dispenser and paper good) it would have improved the quality of our stay and I would have rated it five stars.

We loved our stay in Paris at this apartment. It was spacious and comfortable for our needs. It was easy to get to public transportation and the restaurants in the area were excellent. Yohann was very easy to communicate with and quick with responses to questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Paris.

Fabulous interior, well-stocked, wonderfully located Parisian apartment

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. The interior of the apartment is tastefully appointed. The 3 bedrooms are nicely separated from each other. There is a large dining table and the kitchen has nice appliances, including a dishwasher, a good supply of pots, pans, utensils, knives, silverware. The washer and dryer are in a half bathroom with a large shower. Another bathroom has a small shower, and there is a WC next to the kitchen/dining room. The only downside was that there was no AC, but the owner supplied fans in every room.The apartment is very well located in the Northeast corner of the 2nd arondissement, right next to the 3rd, 10th, and 11th. It is a 2-minute walk to a metro stop with access to 3 lines. There are a plethora of restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, and shops within easy walking distance. While there are plenty of tourists in the area (especially in August, when we visited and many locals fled), we still felt like we got a good sense of what Parisian life is like.The women on the street to whom many reviews refer were typically gone by early evening. We never felt threatened by them or the very few potential customers we saw.

Nice place near historic part of Paris

The house is well maintained and has all the amenities for a family. We stayed here for a few days. Mickael helped with the checkin and took the time to provide all the information. Cafes/restaurants/metro are all walking distance.

Comfortable and accessible

This apartment was perfect for our family — the location couldn’t have been better. It offered all the comforts of home, making it easy to relax and settle in right away. Most attractions, restaurants, and shops were within walking distance or just a short ride on the metro, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely choose this place again for a future visit.

Excellent apartment

This was our first time coming to Europe and to Paris. We didn’t know what to expect and we were a little uneasy about not staying in a hotel. This apartment is located in a building that appears to be transitioning. The apartment itself inside was very nice. We appreciated only one flight of stairs and the additional locking door downstairs for safety. The shower in the main bathroom was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and even without air conditioning, the apartment was cool. We did not cook, although there were a lot of items in the kitchen if we chose to. Two things we would have liked to have seen was hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, shelves or trays in the shower to hold our toiletries. We were not fans of the couch as we prefer a more comfortable traditional couch instead of a modern couch. This however, is just personal taste. The location was great. We enjoyed easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, cafés, and transportation. We appreciated the gentlemen checking us in as our train was late and traffic delayed us. He communicated many times reassuring us he would be there when we arrived. We would stay here again.

Spacious apartment in a great location

This property is in a great location right next to the metro, with many amenities and restaurants nearby. It is a 20 min walk from Gare du Nord and the Louvre, direct line on the metro to the Eiffel Tower.Host was helpful, took time to explain everything, 2 sets of keys provided. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and there was a washer and dryer as well as 2 bathrooms.We never felt unsafe, always plenty of people around in the area. Would recommend.

Nice apartment in a great location

Our stay was the first week of Jan 2025. Check in was great. Apartment was very nice, only one flight of stairs. We had 6 adults and sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. Just a few blocks to the metro station. Lots of bakery's, supermarkets and cafe's within a few blocks. No issues with the neighborhood. No issues with the apartment or the host. Would highly recommend

Wonderful gem close to metro with comfortable beds!

The Manray apartment fulfilled our needs. It’s close to metro and restaurants. The 2 showers and 2 toilets were beneficial. The beds are highly comfortable. There is not a negative but the only improvement could be written directions for the microwave, washer, dryer and tv. There was a lot of verbal information upon check in, with our jet lagged brains and it would have been nice to have that affirmation in writing to confirm if what we could remember was correct.

Large apartment-great location

The Manray house was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The location was excellent and it was easy to tour multiple tourist hot spots and near plenty of within walking distance of plenty of great restaurants. There were ladies waiting for men out front on the street but we always felt comfortable and safe. I wouldn't hesitate to book the Manray house again.

Good location, too loud to sleep

The interior is very clean, comfortable, good beds and linens. The neighborhood felt safe. The check in process was so easy, and they even allowed us to check in several hours early which was a huge help to not have to drag our luggage around. Coffee, sugar, and laundry soap provided. My biggest complaint was the noise. There are several businesses outside the property that played loud music and partied till after midnight the whole week we were there. The other problem was the people in the apartment above us sounded like they were hammering and moving furniture around all night, and I mean ALL night. As a result the four of us were exhausted the entire trip from joy sleeping. A bit disappointing… While the property owner was exceptional and the apartment was very nice, I would not ever stay there again.
