Stairs are way too narrow and unsafe. Receptionist doesnt know English at all. Receptionist very unpolit and rude. My blanket was dirty, I asked for the replacemet and I was told it’s not a 5 star hotel. I dont think hygin has anything to do with the number of stars. Unblievably small shower. Sink was dripping and dirty water was spilling on my feet while I was using the sink. Shower head was broken and water flow was toward the wall. Not queit at all. Hotel location is good but service was terrible for the money! Not recommended.

1. The gentleman at the reception barely greeted me or made any human interaction with me. If it wasn’t for my local friend, who speaks fluent French, I would’ve had a hard time figuring things out. Even a basic bonjour when he saw me every morning would’ve been nice. 2. The bathrooms are terrible. One light was hanging by its wire through the ceiling, all of the tiles in the shower were plastered poorly and peeling off looking disgusting, I was only provided three towels, and they were no bigger than an adult cat. I had to wash my body with hand cloths pretty much. 3. There is no housekeeping and I was never offered any level of customer service or basic interest if I’m enjoying my stay. 4. I understand no air conditioning, but there wasn’t even a fan or any offered. I had to sleep with the window open every night to get any kind of air circulation and was bit by mosquitoes. 5. The only non-deceptive part about the photos are the beds. The bed was spacious, soft and with good pillows and covers. No problem there. With a little bit more effort for basic amenities and presentation, this place wouldn’t be so bad. I’ve stayed at other small boutique hotels in Paris, and this is not up to par.

If you are looking for a budget hotel to have a nice room to fit in and spend a few days, this is a very nice option. Do not expect for luxury or comfort. The people working here are very kind, helpful and well behaving.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was recently remodeled and very nice. The room was very small, had dirty carpet and bed spread. We were on the first floor and it was very loud with street traffic and there is no air-conditioning. The breakfast offered was bread, coffee and juice for eight dollars a person. It is also far from the main attractions and taxi rides were expensive. We tried taking the bus but it was difficult to negotiate Paris.

Was caught with no hotel for 5 days and found this for its price. Turns out it is the most charming hotel with all the old features that make one fall in love with Paris. The staff are amazing, welcoming and full of recommendations and help. I would return in a heartbeat. I had room #5 with a view of the street, was quiet, clean, fluffy bed and great morning breakfast. Near EVERYTHING. Only downside is no elevator, but c'est la vie.

The room was clean, in a nice area, the staff was courteous and helpful, and it was very convenient to buy food or go to a nice restaurant. This is not a five star hotel, but a nice place to stay for the money. I would definitely come back.

The hotel needs many repairs. Things in disrepair in our room. No lights in hallways. Total fire trap. Twice for breakfast, the main guy had to bike to the bakery to get our croissants. Then he put them on our plate with his dirty hands. Milk pitcher on our table was dirty. When we arrived we were told room 24 but given key to room 25 so we took suitcases into 25. That night when we asked for our key to 25, the main guy wouldn't give it to us. Finally did. We asked for a second towel and he gave us one that was thread bare. I could go on and on with more details. We were on top floor, and our windows didn't work. The fact it's a fire trap bothered me the most.

If you just want somewhere clean and comfortable without too much going on this is the place. It is in a great area, lots of cute shops and restaurants. Really close to metro stops. Its a great price and we thought it was super cute. If you like a luxury hotel experience with all the amenities then maybe this isnt the hotel for you. But if you want something simple then its great. A few things: the wifi is a little slow in the rooms, the bathroom is a little on the small side, and there is no AC or elevator. We really loved our stay and think if we come back to Paris we will stay our whole trip at this hotel.

Breast fast is rubbish, how could someone be having one bread, one cross ain't and coffee plus a glass of juice for breakfast? No fruits no supplements at all rubbish hotel

Nice hotel...

The hotel is in a neighborhood with lots of shops, markets and restaurants. It's easy to get to. The hotel was clean and my room looked just like the photos online. All the staff at the front desk were courteous, professional, helpful and spoke in conversational English. Only had two issues, the heater didn't warm the room, and the breakfast wasn't so good, just bread, coffee and carton orange juice.

Cozy Monceau in Paris 17th Arrondissement

Hotels needs a serious update, quite run down. A bit far from the main sights, long walk to Metro Villiers.
