Like the location and convenience of the stay. But the facility is old with no elevator, you will find things that needs repair, lost power on wall plugs, plumbing issues. Facility is clean, and staff is welcoming though.

The staff are friendly and accomodating. The hotel rooms are charming and clean, but are a long climb-to since there is no elevator. I would suggest booking a room at lower level for convinience.

Room with a view

The reception is on the first floor. The lady at the reception was very helpful, spoke good English. I got a room on the 5th floor. The room had a balcony facing the street with a table and 2 chairs. The view from the balcony is very nice. Clean and comfortable rooms. The area around the Hotel has a lot of bars ans eateries and is very lively at night. Warning: The 5th floor is a bit of a climb. Not recommended for people with heavy luggage.

Lovely stay

The receptionists were both very friendly and helpful. We reached Paris early in the morning. And thanks to them willingly to let us check in first. Really thanks a lot as we were exhausted after long journey night bus from Amsterdam to Paris. Room was clean. Bus stop just right outside the hotel, metro station is few minutes walk away

Budget Hotel in 11th Arrondissement

The location was good, being close to two metro stations in the 11th Arrondissement. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, our room was on the 5th floor of the hotel, which meant we had to climb six (yes, 6) flights of stairs from the street to get to our room since there was no elevator. We were aware of this possibility when we booked the room, so we weren't surprised, just be ready for it. It did have a narrow balcony which was nice. The shower was a little odd, but our bathroom was nice overall.

Handy location, great staff and good pricing.

We were a couple staying for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Baudin. Its location in the south east of the city made a change to places in Paris I've stayed before. In either 5 minutes on a bike or a 15 minute walk we were at Notre Dame along the Seine. We walked or cycled everywhere so couldn't give an idea on bus or metro timescales, but there is a metro stop right by the hotel. There are many brasseries and eateries in the neighbourhood so you don't always have to travel far. Chinatown is in the 13th arrondissement a few kilometres away which is handy if you don't want to venture too much into the very centre of town. The room was very good; nice comfy bed with room for our belongings, clean bathroom with shower and a nice corner balcony (we were on the fifth floor) which came in handy in the middle of summer and was good for a relaxing evening in eating our dinner whilst watching the nightlife below. There's free wifi available and you leave the room key at the reception when you go out, but the reception's open 24 hours a day so that's one less thing to carry about with you. All the staff we met were very courteous and friendly, but a special mention must go to Liliane who was extremely helpful both with the original booking and pre-stay (visa issues etc) as well as from check-in right through to check out (even small things like travel plug adaptors). Nothing was too much for her and we were very grateful for her hospitality.

Nice hotel close to metro and McDonald's!!

Really friendly staff, large room, convenient location and an overall nice experience. First time visit to Paris allowed us maximum coverage of tourist sites through staying at this location, along with the convenience of McDonald's in the evening (which is 24 hours)! Had a nice little balcony which allowed a view of outside Paris which was a nice added touch. The price is affordable and the room has its own antique look which we have never come across before. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit Paris as we had a fantastic time at this hotel!

Hotel Baudin heeft geen lift maar wel een mooi ouderwets trappenhuis waarvan de trap gemakkelijk te beklimmen en af te dalen is. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk & behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ruim, met goede bedden en een mooie parketvloer. Het ingebouwde badkamertje met wc is klein maar goed uitgerust. Het 12e arrondissement waarin het ligt is heel plezierig met veel horeca, winkels, een markt etc., en we voelden ons er meteen thuis. Eene geslaagd verblijf!
