Terrible customer service. We paid for early check in because we have young kids. We arrived at the agreed upon time but the apartment was filthy from the previous guests. See attached for what we walked in to. We were told that it would take until 5pm to clean, and it took 6 emails to get our money paid for early check in to get a refund. We were promised a “gift” for our inconvenience, which never arrived. All follow up told us we were basically lucky to get the refund. The location is excellent, and the apartment was fine, but super ill equipped in the kitchen to say the least. Do not expect to do sufficient laundry here—we put in a towel and one pair of pjs, and the wash couldn’t handle it and leaked. Socks and underwear only, apparently. With our young kids we had to do about 20 loads of laundry (!!) over four days to keep up with their clothes to keep things clean for our next stop with no laundry. Very convenient to transport and groceries, but would not recommended for anyone with kids, peopleexpecting to do laundry, or anyone wanting to check in early (even if you pay the premium…) also, only curtains on one window in the living room. Hard to sleep with that bright light.Do not recommend this property until they address these issues.

Great location, nice accommodations, limited communication

Had a great stay at the apartment for a week. Traveling as a family, it was easy to come back from anywhere in city center if we needed a rest or to grab more layers for the evening. Several markets and supermarkets nearby, which made it economical for some meals (as long as they could made with a pasta spoon or ladle, the only cooking utensils provided) and fun to try familiar but different products we use at home. The only mark against was the slow digital communication with the property manager. We had no major issues with check-in or during our stay, but the company insisted on only using a local phone number for direct communication, which is understandable if not for the fact that most phone US carriers provide primarily text/data international coverage as part of their plans much more commonly than voice coverage. Perhaps most travelers the company receives are from Europe, and this doesn't present an issue. It would be nice if the phone number provided allowed for texting. The website lists a WhatsApp number that I tested but received no response.Again, we needed nothing that required immediate communication. The one small question we did send by email during the stay, however, received a reply two days later, so it stuck in my mind that should something arise it could be a possibly costly 25 to 1.50/minute call depending on the caller's phone plan and length of the call to resolve the situation.
