Villa Marilena is a bright and welcoming holiday home in the heart of Protaras, just 600 metres from the nearest beach—an easy stroll for families looking to spend the day by the sea. With sunlight filling the house throughout the day and plenty of outdoor space, it's a great setting for a relaxed family break.



Outside, the villa features a private garden, a decked swimming pool area, comfortable outdoor seating, a shaded dining space, and a barbecue—perfect for al fresco family meals. There’s also gated off-road parking for extra convenience and peace of mind.



Set over two floors, the villa offers an open-plan layout with air conditioning in all bedrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full range of appliances, wooden worktops, and plenty of storage, making it easy to prepare meals at home. The dining area has a table and six chairs, while the living room offers two comfy sofas, a large flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and direct access to the pool area through sliding doors.



The ground floor has one double bedroom with access to a shared shower room and WC. Upstairs, the master bedroom includes another double bed, while a third bedroom is set up with two single beds—ideal for children. Both upstairs rooms share a family shower room and enjoy access to a sunny terrace.

Lovely stay

All in all we had a fantastic stay here. The villa was a perfect size for my family, and location, pool area suited us. Shop and beach in walking distance but used car for main town, could walk along costal path in 20 mins. Just a few minors which were fixed would make this a five star review. Outdoor sofas are filthy and cats use them as there beds at night. Microwave was rusty inside and no cleaning products or toilet paper provided of which I bought myself. Also basic kitchen condiments like salt, pepper ect. Pool area has loose decking and tiles and just needs some general maintenance like a lick of paint. This would be a perfect villa if little jobs were done. With all that said we still had a fantastic stay at villa marilena. Communicating with the villa property manager margarita was quick and easy and everything we asked for was adhered to.

Needs updating

This property needs updating. We had an issue with cockroaches and I emailed them and they first sent out someone to spray. Then after we saw more cockroaches we demanded that we leave. Thankfully another more modern house was available but we did have to wait 2 days. The bathrooms and kitchen need updating and the outside pool area is a little different than the pictures shown. The lounge chairs are older and torn and there is no chair cushions as shown on the side of the pool. The area is on a side road that is not walking distance to town and hidden. There are no views of water. The air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom is very loud and we had a hard time falling asleep. Getting into the house was easy with the lock box-I guess what lacks is the personal service and attention that we have gotten at other rentals that are not managed by a company. We are grateful that they could switch us out of this house. We don’t recommend it.

The villa is in a quiet location but with easy access to local beaches (approx. 10 min walk) and the centre of Protaras (15 mins) There is a lovely restaurant just down the road, open all day. The main bus route is just a couple of minutes away Would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting this area

Ja das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles super sauber und mit ein sehr gepflegter Garten. Schön um draussen auf der Terasse zu sitzen und im Pool sich zu erfrischen. Das Bad unten könnte ein paar Ablagemöglichkeiten gebrauchen, aber ansonsten ok. Man muss halt wissen, das "no rubbish in the toilet" auch das Toilettenpapier meint, was aber für Zypern wohl nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Lage optimal für Strandausfüge oder um Abends Essen zu gehen oder einkaufen zu fahren. Die Strände sind sehr sauber und das Wasser super klar,echt Top!
