Overall, the unit needed some definite upgrades. The cabinets were all original and some didn’t close properly. Original carpet in the bedroom closet. The microwave had enamel peeling in the back. It was well stocked in terms of cooking utensils but again the teflon pans were flaking or chipped. I could deal with those aspects for a couple nights. But what makes me most angry was the fact that the listing never mentioned a 75 registration fee that had to be paid to the HOA. I looked specifically for this and would’ve chosen a different location if I had been informed. On top of this, I didn’t receive notification of this fee until the day of check in. When I went to the website, it said I could’ve saved 25 if I did it the previous day. How could I have done that if they didn’t provide me the notification before the day of check in? So not only did they charge me a fee that I wasn’t made aware of in the listing, but they made it so I would have to pay the maximum fee. The owner needs to fix the listing to be more explicit in addition to updating the unit.
