Like the mini-golf. Didn't like the fact that we had ants in our kitchen area.

The room was nice. The staff was very poliet and helpful. There were a few things, most beyond the resorts control, that made my stay sour and we won't be returning. We checked in on Saturday and out on Monday.
1. Indoor water park...not included with the proce you pay for the room. I must have missed that.
2. Roof leaks in indoor pool. Normally not a big issue, however, it was cold and raining when we went so having cold rain drip on you no matter where you sat and the air in pool was freezing, made it very unpleasant.
3. Check in is 4pm. Check out 10am. No late check out. Indoor water park closes at 8. Prices are alnost $17 a person. Not paying that for only a few hours. Yes you get a discount of about $5 if you go the next day, but still not worth it.
4. Indoor pool was closed on Sunday due to maintenance.
5. Water heater broke Sunday evening. No hot water for showers after being in the pool. Hotel offered to move us to another room, but this was at 10:45Pm. Didnt nake sence to move rooms when check out us 10am and i had a sleeping toddle. Also offered to give us a 1 time use room key to use a room at another building just to shower. Very nice but again sleeping baby.
6. Beds very uncomfortable, even for my 11 year old who can sleep anywhere.
Again most these items the hotel could not control. These things just made our stay unpleasant and not worth the money we spent.

This property was a 1/2 way location for family from Michigan and Iowa to get together for a weekend getaway. There facitilies were great and there was alot of the children to do. The Water Park was very croweded on Saturday and not all slides were functional. Additionally, we were disappointed that the hotel would put a family with many, many small children on the 3rd floor (right above us). They were loud and inconsiderate. Even after 3 calls to the front desk and having security come out at 1040 at night. Overall happy with the beautiful property and would recommend for people for a summer stay.

This is a resort property and I was there for business in the winter and winter is not really the best time to enjoy this resort.

Great getaway!
Pros:Everything. Clean, well appointed, comfortable large beds. New.
Location:There seems to be alot to do in the area in warmer weather. We passed a go cart place, saw antique shops listed. Resort has activities you can join.
We took our grandaughter for a winter getaway with friends and their grandson. It's only an hour away. The place was great...two large bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining and living room area. We made breakfast there. We enjoyed the Pirate's Cay waterpark on friday and the huge indoor pool on Saturday. We ate at the onsite Pizza place for dinner friday and had lunch at the onsite Subway on Saturday. All good. The waterpark and pool had warm water and warm air. It was great for young kids so they didn't get cold. There are nice options for young kids and big waterslides for older kids. Highly recommend. There are many more options in warm weather...small lakes for canoeing, a golf course, outdoor pool.
