Die ruhige Lage und die guten Parkmöglichkeiten haben mir gut gefallen. Auch ist das Hotel ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen rund um Ostheim. Schlecht war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Für Frühstück- Speisen 16,- Euro und für Frühstück - Getränke 9,- Euro zu verlangen ist eine Abzocke....das Abendessen für 21,- Euro eine einzige Katastrophe....an der Rezeption herrscht ein einziges Chaos, Buchungen werden nicht gefunden, falsche Buchungen, Ratlosigkeit usw. Das Hotel werde ich keinesfalls weiterempfehlen.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit gutem Einstieg zu Ausflügen in die Rhön oder direkte Umgebung. Privat geführtes Hotel mit sehr viel persönlichem Engagement. Gute Küche. Kostenloser Parkplatz am Haus. Prisvärt hotell med god mat, god närproducerad öl och fin frukost. Kanske lite bedagade rum men det är rent och prydligt. Fantastisk natur finns i närheten. Vi har bott här flera gånger då det ligger bra till om man är på väg norrut eller söderut.

Ruhiges Hotel am Rand der Rhön

Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage, um (Fahrrad-) Wanderungen direkt zu starten. Die historische Altstadt mit Kirchenburg und einem der 5 Orgelbaumuseen Deutschlands sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Das Hotel bietet in zwei Flügeln jeweils 10 Zimmer in jeweils 2 Etagen. Behinderte Menschen sollten das bei Buchung angeben, da wohl kein Fahrstuhl existiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist inbegriffen und war reichlich. Das Hotel hat ein Restaurant, in dem man Halbpension aber auch a la carte essen kann. Die Küche bietet überdurchschnittlich leckere Essen. Parken am Haus ohne Aufpreis.

Ruhiges Hotel in wunderschöner Landschaft

Am Rande des Luftkurortes Ostheim vor der Rhön gelegen haben wir dort 8 Tage mit unserem Enkelkind für Wander- und Entdeckungsurlaub im Biosphärenreservat Bayrische Rhön. Trotz teilweise widrigem Wetter eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Komfortables, sauberes, ruhiges Hotel

Freundliches Personal und sehr zuvorkommend. Leider gab es aufgrund einer Veranstaltung vor Ort nur eine kleine Speisekarte am Abend, darüber waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Das Abendessen war akzeptabel aber keine herausragende Küche. Das gleiche gilt für das Frühstück, und auch der Kaffee war nicht besonders gut. Im Sommer kann man bestimmt den kleinen Biergarten genießen. Sehr gut waren die Weine, die im Angebot waren. Hier hat man einen recht guten Winzer aus dem Frankenland gewählt. Das gleiche gilt für das Sortiment an Schnäpsen. Auch hier war hohe Qualität auf der Karte und keine aromatisierten österreichischen derzeit sehr populären "Spirituosen". Das Hotel eignet sich sehr gut für Wanderer, die von der Haustür aus starten wollen. Man kann in den Premiumwanderweg "Hochrhöner" einsteigen bzw. einen Zwischenstopp während der Wanderung einlegen. Das Hotel liegt absolut ruhig, am Ortsrand. Das Städtchen Ostheim selbst bietet die Möglichkeit zum Besichtigen der weithin bekannten Kirchenburg und punktet mit beschaulichen kleinen Gassen und auch der ein oder anderen netten Kneipe als Alternative zum Hotel-Restaurant bei längerem Aufenthalt. Im Sommer gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich als Hotelgast auch außerhalb des bewirteten Bereichs draußen aufzuhalten. Die Außenanlage macht es möglich, sich auf die Wiese zu setzen, man kann Tischtennis spielen und für Kinder gibt es eine Spielecke im Gebäude. Ob man für Kinder im Freien noch weitere Betätigungen anbietet, wissen wir nicht ....

Kurztrip in die Rhön

Schönes Hotel in absolut ruhiger Lage. Gemütlicher Biergarten mit Strandkörben und Blick auf die umliegenden Felder. Leckeres Frühstück im ansprechenden Frühstücksraum. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen, einziger Minuspunkt waren die viel zu flachen Kopfkissen (sicherlich hätten wir noch ein paar zusätzliche Kissen bekommen, wenn wir danach gefragt hätten. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren, hat sich dies aber erledigt.) Trotzdem gut und empfehlenswert!

Sehr charmantes Hotel in der Rhön

Wir hatten unseren Kurzurlaub in der Rhön im Landhotel Thüringer Hof gebucht. Das Hotel ist generell sehr sauber, die Zimmer groß und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. So haben wir unsere Ausflüge durch das Hotel organisieren lassen. Die Stadt Ostheim und die Wanderung zur Wasserkuppe waren sehr gut ausgewählt :) Das Restaurant des Hotels ist ein Geheimtip. Auf der Website des Hotels sind die Preise günstiger als bei den Portalen und es gibt einen Gutschein.
