Beware! The photos are very misleading! It looks like they started renovations in some areas and stopped before completing them. In my sister's words, "It looks like they tried to polish a turd." I could feel the springs in the bed. The bathroom had cracked tiles and an old, stained toilet. The breezeways to the rooms were dark, dirty and felt unsafe. The only good part was the nice guy that checked us in.

Baymont is now 'Developer's inn'. The bldg is in very poor shape. The prison behind it has a 2-star rating so its in better shape. Bare minimum remodeling has been done: beds very comfy, flooring is nice, shower is updated, ac runs great. Only 1 tiny trash can. No hooks in bathroom to hang anything. Pool area looks good. Front desk lady was very nice. Breakfast needs help- first day ALL the sausage patties were burnt, oatmeal half-cooked & sitting in water. The pancakes were very tough my utensils wouldnt cut thru it. But 2nd day was good- bacon was yummy, oatmeal was perfect. However both days the waffle maker was not available...i was told they had no waffle batter. Also the tv is not on any station to watch...just a single picture of coffee.

The breakfast was very good. The rooms were OK inside but did not feel comfortable. Heard people outside on the 4th floor where I was at 3;00am. Elevator was very old and beat looking. Did not feel comfortable at this location. Also read this is very close to a prison.

at first, when I got there, I was a little worried, but once I got into my room, it was fairly comfortable. Everything was clean. There are a few areas that could be painted are fixed, but it wasn’t anything major. That would affect anything. Overall the stay was good.
