Love the hotel!

Pros: I love how close it is to the theme parks. You don't have to wait in a huge line for a tram. Just take a walk through downtown Disney.
Cons: I would enjoy a later checkout time and earlier check in time though.
Location: Perfect location if you want to go to an Angels game, Ducks game or just to go into Disney California and Disneyland.
This was my first time at the Disneyland hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed their pool and the soft beds! When I came to check in to my floor level room the desk upgraded me to a 7th floor room. I had a great view of the pool and was even able to see some of the fireworks from the room window.

Enjoyed our trip.

Nice to be staying on the property. Spending time in the parks for those over 60 and knowing the room is available just a few steps away is really nice and comforting.

Awesome stay

This place is has everything. Location couldn't be better, rooms and property were extremely well kept and clean, and prett endless choices of things to do. Price is what you expect anything associated with disney to be, but this property is worth the little extra.

Extremely convenient, great theme park tie-ins

It's hard to find much fault with the hotel other than its high price. The location is on the opposite side of Downtown Disney from the Disneyland and California Adventure parks. The rooms have subtle and not-so subtle Mickey Mouse themes from the light fixtures to the sheets. Some rooms have a view of the fireworks show, though most do not. The remodeled pool area is very nice with slides just right for young children.

LOVED THE HOTEL AND POOL ! MAGIC HOUR IS A WASTE

we just got back from disneyland , its better to stay in resort near park , best disnet trip ever !! rooms were great the pool was fantastic , steps away from downtown disney and the parks ! only flaw was magic hour you can try if you want ! but with kids that extra hour is not worth it at all specially since they pick one specific park to open first and they only open a few rides , the lines are longer during magic hour than during the day . late nights is best till park closes alot easier to get to the rides you want.

it is an excellant place to stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, easy access to disneyland
It does cost more than the other hotels, but you get so much more. You get the early mornings and you can walk right to the monorail and go into the park. It is at the end of downtown Disney, so it is easy to go back to the hotel and then to the park again.

It was okay, but not what I expected from Disney.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
It was nice hotel. Staff were great! Not worth the money. Jury's in Boston was superb for less. It is my favourite hotel in all the world, and I have travelled a lot. I would not stay at the Disneyland hotel again. The Hilton outside is a better hotel.

A great hotel, but lacking service at the front desk.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, great housekeeping staff
Cons: rude front desk staff and limited eating choices
We loved the hotel and were very comfortable in our room. The big complaint is that the front desk staff was NOT friendly at all and it was a little off-putting to begin our vacation that way.

I love this upgraded hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, self parking
Cons: Poor breakfast
What else can you say except you like I have always wanted to stay here and now with the upgrades its finally worth it. If I was to take my kids to a water park and get a hotel I would have paid more than what I spent here. Where else can you go into C.A. ride Racers, Luigi's, Maters and Toy Story Mania then head to the room at 10:00 am to swim and nap before heading back to the park. Priceless.

Great Stay !

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, great pool, location
I just returned from Disney with my 3 kids and we had a wonderful stay ! The staff was extremely helpful and gave us lots of suggestions.. it was my daughters birthday while we were there and they gave her a big birthday button ! Rooms were very clean , staff was great and the pools were amazing and you can't beat the location, right by downtown Disney ! I highly recommended staying at the Disneyland Hotel it is well worth the money !
