Not what we expected

Pros: The only thing I liked it was close to Theme Park
Cons: Cleanliness and remodel
Location: Very close to Disneyland and Disney California
This hotel was not what I expected it to be. It was older and very small. The beds were uncomfortable. Did not look like the linen was very clean. On the website it looked totally different. Carpets old in all not satisfied.

Room was not the same as what I booked. Coffeemaker did not work. TV signal was sporadic . Housekeeping staff was very helpful .

Oh Boy, where do I start?

Pros: The Bell staff, they were awesome and the restaurant, food was yummy!
Cons: The hotel needs a full makeover ASAP, gum on floors when getting to rooms as well as garbage all over, the whole hotel needs a good cleansing!
Location: Walk is far to Disneyland so make sure you have great walking shoes
From the moment I arrived there were issues, I was hoping the previous reviews were wrong but they weren't. I had Travelocity call the hotel when I booked the room to ask that we had early check in as we were flying in and would be early, when we checked in I was told no rooms available, was a little disappointed but we had a very nice bellhop take our bags to store them until we could check in. We went into Disneyland for 4 hours and never heard from the hotel, we walked back to the hotel and asked if it was ready yet and the lady at the from desk asked if 2nd floor was ok and I advised it was, I really wish maybe we should have waited longer because as soon as we got to the room it smelled of mildew and the mini refrigerator had wet towels hanging all of the inside of it and on the floor, when I called the front desk they stated "well that's weird", when a cleaning lady showed up she just removed the towels and wiped the floor and left, wush I would have noticed that there was no hand soap or body soap so we had to wash our hands with the only thing in the bathroom which was with hair conditioner! we tried calling the front desk again but no one showed up, there were stains all over the couch in the room so I told my daughters to not even sit on it. When we returned from Disneyland at 1:00am we tried to lock the door and the security lock fell right out of the wall so needless to say I got no sleep the only night were staying. I do have to say the Bell staff were great!

Annabella Hotel

Pros: It was within walking distance to Disneyland.
Cons: New beds, Locks on the bathroom windows, and better soundproofing from other rooms.
Location: Disneyland, California Adventures
I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times now because in the past the beds have always been very comfortable. However, this time it was not. The bed was very lumpy and swayed. Attention hotel management: IT'S TIME FOR NEW MATTRESSES! My room was an adjoining room (the door between was locked), but there was a huge gap under the door and I could hear everything in my room as though the door were wide open. The 2nd night I stuffed a towel under the door to get some privacy. My room was on the 1st floor and the window in the bathroom did not have a lock, which was a little unnerving at night. On the positive side, the room was very clean.

traveler beware: pretty facade, dark underbelly

Pros: Proximity to the parks—that's about all you get here.
Cons: A deep clean and thorough check for mold. Sensibility training for the housekeeping manager.
The initial booking price was right, but watch out for a $7 park fee, $17 parking fee, and a $40 extra guest fee (for 2 adults, 2 kids). The room looked nice, but smelled heavily of mildew and mold. The food looked nice, but was literally dripping in sugar and syrup. We lost a shoe, phoned house keeping, but no luck. Tried again 2 days later on the off chance it had showed up, and the housekeeping manager hung up on me at the first mention of "converse high top". Called back, asked for house keeping, no words, just a quick answer and hang up. Called the front desk, who talked to the manager directly who relayed the message "Maybe you missed the message, but housekeeping didn't find your shoe when they checked the first time." Odd way of handling what should have been a simple customer service engagement.

Just a short walk to Disneyland.

We were given wrong information by the clerk who registered us. If he wasn't sure he should have found the correct information instead of guessing.

Love the Annabella

Suite accommodations for hotel prices. Clean and convenient walk to Disneyland. They have an awesome bar and lounge called the Tangerine (something) and the food is fantastic and the bar service is amazing. Excellent cocktails! Fantastic seating options (we sat in the nice patio furniture with comfortable cushions and lots of space for all the food we ordered) :)) A few minor things they need to fix if they are going to stick around (we heard a rumor they are going to be closing in the next year for convention center parking which is so unfortunate for this beautiful hotel if it's true): - all their electrical outlets are loose (if you plug your iPod or your hairdryer or your straightener/curling iron in, every movement makes them pull out of the wall). - bathrooms really need to be repainted and checked for water damage issues. - paying $17 a day for parking is not something that's highlighted a lot in their advertisement so make sure you know that you need to add an extra $17 plus taxes to your nightly charge. Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there in the future the location is simply perfect and the accommodations are pretty great. We would much rather pay $150 for a suite for the night (and walk a couple easy blocks to Disney) then to pay $600 for two queen beds at the California Grand (our other favorite) any day.

ok

Recommend by friends. But our room was old. Popcorn ceilings. Fixtures in bathroom falling apart. Love the fact there was no carpet. Bed was comfy, but bedding wasn't great nor the towels. And the patios were dirty, like tables and chairs and the adult pool and the little patio by our room was dirty. I guess I'm to high maintenance. Ha! Over all I heard some of the other rooms are better.
