"Kind of plain but had the necessary things including refrigerator and microwave. Not fancy but clean. No decaf coffee for pot in room and no breakfast, but the staff was nice."

"I really enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the lounge area where there were several games to play, snacks, drinks, music streaming. They have a lovely fire pit and outdoor seating areas. An outdoor movie/sauna area, pool, hammocks, pickleball court and ping pong table. The property is surrounded by forest with trails. I will definitely stay at the property again if I find myself in the area. The only con was the driveway/road between the street, buildings, and other areas of the property. Due to the roots of the trees, the blacktop/rock road surface and outdoor seating areas are difficult to maneuver for individuals that are wheelchair bound or those who have difficulty walking. I do not suggest you avoid the property due to this, just that you are aware and are prepared."

"Room was exactly as depicted. Clean, smelled fresh, bed was very comfortable! Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the weekend"

"This was a great property in the woods. It was very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to gather. The hot tub was a hit! We were in an SUV so had no problem going up the driveway, but I could see why it could be an issue for some. We had fun watching all of the birds coming for the seeds that were provided. Eureka Springs is a fun town to walk around - shops and restaurants were plenty. Highly recommend The Grotto - just be sure to make a reservation. We really enjoyed our getaway!"

"We truly enjoy these unique stays, from an old bank to a route 66 gas station we can now add a caboose to completed list. Brittany was a wonderful host. Her communications were timely and helpful and she's just as nice when we met her in person. The property was as described and met our needs. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the overall privacy of the location. It's near enough town but peaceful and quiet. We can highly recommend this interesting property."
