"The Firelite Lodge looks like an old motel that has been refurbished. The outside is a bit worn but the rooms are nice. The bed was comfy. We had a nice view of Lake Tahoe from our tiny balcony. Granted it looked over the highway, but it is a nice touch for a mid priced lodge. All communications, check-in and check-out were via text or email. They were very responsive. There was a power outage for the entire area. When we got to our room late after seeing a concert, there were 2 flashlights waiting for us. Nice touch! I would definitely stay there again."
