"Bathroom mirror is so recessed you can't see yourself. The room also lacks mirrors. The elevators and hall in front fo the elevators need HVAC vents. The room is also a little dark. But this could be the best place to stay in Bakersfield so these sort fo things should be overlooked."

"Just a quick one night stay again. But again very happy with my huge clean beautiful room at a very fair price in a very safe area.. with an 18 wheel semi needing parking it can be hard. But they have plenty of open street parking literally right in front of the hotel making it work out very well.. I appreciated that they even had razors on hand that they provided for free when I had gone to the front desk looking to purchase one.. that was nice and I love the bottles of actual good shampoos and conditioners lotions etc all provided in the shower.. unfortunately this time the neighbor next to us was being loud and weird pretty much all night but that really is not the hotels fault. The breakfast again great with eggs and sausage fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, juices and coffee..am still hoping to try the indoor pool. Just have to stay longer than a few hours to get to try that amenity!!"

"We’ve always liked this place and the staff used to be really nice. But we were very insulted this time around because all we did was go walk to In-N-Out come back to the hotel and walk back to Dennys to get the brownie dessert and the next day we were told that we were DNR for having too much traffic in our room. We are not locals. We live three hours away and this is where we thought was a nice place to stay when visiting family. We ignored them multiple roaches and cigarette burns cause we thought the staff was nice and the location was convenient. But we’re not drug dealers or sex workers. I was a single mom with two kids. I don’t appreciate being accused of traffic. I should be able to walk to two restaurants without being judged like that.l the first room had roaches and we moved to the second room and it also had roaches as soon as we turn the lights on the scatter we were going to overlook that, but when we get accused, here is a picture of the TV glitching up and be staying frozen for five minutes. And the AC nearly falling off its hinges. Most of the people live there so they have a lot of nerve accusing us about traffic. The manager needs a hospitality as well as a makeup lesson."
