The large pool area was really nice. Our family really enjoyed it. Free coffee and breakfast was helped get us back on the road as we were passing through for one night. The exterior could be made more inviting but the rooms were fine. Staff was friendly.

Lovely stay. Clean, modern.. nice drink station..great pool. Nice clean gym..Near John’s incredible pizza. Hopefully they can open a restaurant. My friends said It didn’t look like i was in Bakersfield LOL…Will stay again

I had a reservation last night at this hotel. We arrived shortly after a power outage around 4pm. We understand that things happen and went and entertained oitlrselves for over three hours. Upon return, the power was on, but the front desk attendant was alone and not trained to handle the fact that nobody could access their rooms with key-cards. We also were given a key that would not work. After ove an hour of waiting I asked if there was a manager on call? I was told that the manager was contacted with no response by the poor clerk that said this was her first time being left alone. The hotel had one representative, all alone, dealing with a situation that she never should have had to deal with by herself. We needed rest before our continued travels so we left and very quickly accessed a nice room at the Doubletree around the corner. Today i did receive a response from the GM who I emailed last night. It was a total cop out that lacked a single shred of accountability. She left her team member high and dry, and alll she could say is that the outage was out of her control. What was within her control was either hetting herself to the property to help or finding another tem member to assist. Instead, the GM left the hotel and her limited staff in an impossible situation. Im sure that my bisiness is not the last that will be a loss for this hotel with such poor management.

Lots of construction. Could not use the balcony patio in the morning because workers were perched up right above it working, really off putting and made me feel like there was no privacy. Hotel has potential, but it has a long way to go. Be aware the hallways are outdoors. Breakfast was pretty disappointing- not much offered and there was a heat wave, but still… cartons of yogurt floating in room temp water is just not appealing.
