The owner should offer the senior discount like 50% because people can't eat too much because they all pre diabetic."

"Not to be mistaken for the Vagabond inn North Bakersfield! This is the Vagabond in SOUTH Bakersfield! Trust me, there is a huge difference..... I stay at this place every time I come to Bakersfield. It is very well priced and the rooms are decent. It's not a five-star hotel but it's not a roach motel either. Not a bunch of riff Raff hanging around in the parking lot like some of the other motels in the area. Mostly truck drivers. I feel comfortable bringing my kids to stay with me there. I am happy with the cleanliness and the staff is really amazing. I was a little disappointed that the pool was closed because the kids really wanted to go swimming but it happens. Every room I've ever stayed in has a wonderful AC unit and is normally ice cold when I walk in. I will continue to recommend this motel to anyone staying in Bakersfield. (Stay away from the Vagabond North!)"
