Un endroit parfait pour se détendre et explorer

Nous avons adoré cette propriété. C'était tellement tranquille, avec une vue fabuleuse sur les Pyrénées et une piscine excellente. La campagne environnante est si jolie avec de nombreuses petites villes charmantes et bastides historiques, à courte distance de Pau, Salie de Béarn, Biarritz et de la frontiÚre espagnole. Mme Dumartin était trÚs sympathique et serviable, avec une connaissance encyclopédique des choses à faire. Bien recommandé. Nous sommes déjà tentés de revenir. Julie & Rhod Newcombe Septembre 2018

Beautiful House and Fantastic Setting

The house was amazing and was so peacefully quiet. The pool area was great and we could not help but admire the view and gorgeous countryside the whole time we were there. So relaxing. We had a fantastic holiday!

La situation géographique permet d accéder en 1 heure à divers sites à visiter (plage, montagne, arriÚre pays,...) et typiques de la région (anglet, Saint Jean de Luz, Pau, Vallée d'Ossau...). Vue panoramique exceptionnelle!! Nous avons passé un séjour parfait: la maison est trÚs agréable, la piscine est magnifique et l'accueil par Madame Balestra était trÚs chaleureux. A noter que les photos sont en deçà de la réalité, des rénovations ont été faites, dans la cuisine notament.

Vaste propriĂ©tĂ© et bien Ă©quipĂ©e. La vue sur la chaine des PyrĂ©nĂ©es est superbe (mais faut qu'il fasse beau) mĂȘme lorsque vous ĂȘtes dans la piscine. La maison d'architecte datant des annĂ©es 70, mĂ©riterai un petit coup de jeune (surtout la cuisine). Si vous aimez les Ɠuvres d'art, vous serez servi. 8 personnes pendant notre sĂ©jour, le rĂ©frigĂ©rateur est poussif. Dans la gĂ©nĂ©ralitĂ©, le logement est assez bien Ă©quipĂ© en ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle. Petite remarque nĂ©gative sur la propretĂ©, mais la propriĂ©taire, trĂšs Ă  l'Ă©coute, va y remĂ©dier. Bon sĂ©jour en gĂ©nĂ©ral sauf le temps qui n'Ă©tait pas trop au rendez-vous.

Excellent séjour mais un peu froid

La villa est magnifique, spacieuse et elle dispose de tous les équipements utiles à un agréable séjour. Le seul bémol tient à la difficulté de chauffer un espace aussi grand.

Grosse déception - à éviter

AprÚs avoir fait le ménage au bout de 24h au vu du besoin (aspirateur bien rempli, eau de serpillÚre noire et vaisselle grasse), nous avons découvert que le chauffage de la piscine ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avions choisi justement une location avec piscine chauffée en raison de la météo locale habituelle (confirmée : un jour de pluie sur deux du 25 juillet au 10 août...). Contactée, la propriétaire nous a envoyé paitre, indiquant que les "problÚmes mineurs de piscine" n'étaient rien à cÎté de ses problÚmes personnels. Sa solution : faire nos bagages et nous rembourser ! Nous sommes restés (impossible de trouver une solution de rechange). Le chauffage de la piscine a été réparé deux jours avant notre départ (sur 15 jours). Nombreux besoins de maintenances (lave-vaisselle, placards...) et dépoussiérage (canapés, coussins...) à faire dans cette maison humide. La propriétaire nous a proposé une semaine gratuite hors été pour nous dédommager : nous avons évidemment décliné !

Ce petit bĂ©mol concerne une des chambres qui est sur la mezzanine donc ouverte sur le salon et qui ne bĂ©nĂ©ficie d'aucun rangement pour vider les valises.Sinon trĂšs belle piscine avec une vue magnifique sur les pyrĂ©nnĂ©es(peut ĂȘtre 2 ou 3 bains de soleil Ă  changer) Nous avons passĂ©es de trĂšs bonnes vacances.
