"It was a fantastic place to stay off-season. I mean it would be great to stay during high-season but I'm sure it would be more expensive. But we had a balcony right in the center of the hotel looking directly out onto the beach, a PERFECT view, and it was so affordable. The sun shines right in in the morning if you don't use the blackout curtains. I actually went to bed with the curtains open so the sunrise would wake me up. It was so beautiful as was the sunset. The room was very clean. The wifi signal was strong.
They make fresh squeezed juices in the cafe in the lobby. They're expensive but really nice and totally fresh. They have the raw fruits and vegetables and chop them up right in front of you. The bar and grill also squeezes fresh grapefruit for its cocktails. In fact, I think it was the first time I've had a salty dog with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. Very nice!
Ocean City is quiet during the winter but that was what I was looking for. It was so tranquil and relaxing. I used it as a base to do a day drive to Assateague and Chincoteague islands."
