Well, I have stayed at this property since my daughter is 4, and she is now turning 30. About 5 years ago Vacasa started taking over renting, the fees went through the roof, and problems were difficult to get addressed. We found another condo we love through century 21 and we've been going there ever since. This time I wanted the pool, and I wanted the tiki bar. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the tiki bar and grill and the cleanliness of the deck and pool. That being said, this building is in disrepair. I picked a better condo, but there were bare spots in the kitchen island paint, there was a drywall patch that was not completed, the items in the kitchen for use were ok, but basically odds and ends. Did we have a good time? Yes. Will I be back to the Golden Sands? No. They should tell the staff in the morning when they're prepping the deck to not talk so loudly about they're happy the tourists are leaving, and their jobs will be easier.
