Yes, this place is suppose to be an aquarium, but they currently have a special exhibit on meerkats. You can watch as they run around their enclosure, dig in the dirt & play with their toys (which happens to be a bucket, but they love it anyways!). Their enclosure also has a bubble window where kids can crawl under to get to, so they can see the meerkats closer.
Now if anybody has seen them on tv, you know that they will occasionally stand on their hind legs in search of predators. The ones at the aquarium, have realized they are fairly safe, so they rarely do this, even if you tap on the glass, which they probably find very annoying by now! Thanks to the person next to me, I found that if you try popping your gum very loudly, all of them will stand straight up, which is how I was able to get this cute picture!
